The bang bang fried chicken is always a personal go to... but I opted for the Crab BLT tonight and was blown away! My hubby had the Lamb Shwarma and practically licked his plate... the pita alone was a light, fluffy delight. “We had the best time and best food here! My sister and I and our families and my two pups all ate dinner here on August 16th, 2024. Our service was excellent and the food was SO good. My pups were greeted and given a bowl of water and enjoyed the smoked turkey off dog menu too! Solid selection of local beers and nice variety of cocktails to choose from too. I would highly recommend checking this place out. There’s also an ice cream shop right next door, if you happen to not be too stuffed after your meal!“

“Acadia perk makes coffee drinks with plant milks (lots of choices). They have a small shop, so getting drinks to go is probably the best option. I also got the blueberry lavender latte with oat milk and my sister got a chai latte. Both were delicious and hit the spot after some disappointing coffee with breakfast this morning.“

“Upon arrival the place is packed two seats just open up near the entrance. We got the skinny on how to order the oysters. We get one dozen then two meaty briny goodness. Washed it down with two different styles of blueberry 🫐 beers. Meal hit the spot !“

Our server, Kevin, was very friendly and attentive. We were hoping to sit inside since it was quite breezy outside, but didn’t know they don’t serve inside until 4 p.m. and we didn’t want to wait. If you can eat inside it is much better—still pretty views without the elements! You can sit by the firepit, but I believe the menu is limited. Parking around Bar Harbor is tight—we managed to get a spot in the lot near the Inn.“

Ok, so drinks we had a Tullamore Dew Old Fashioned. I think it was called an Irish Old Fashioned? Partner ordered a margarita. Both were pretty good. Appetizers, Poutine and Lobster salad. Both were really good. For entrees, we got the Shirt Rib and a Steak. Short Rib was pretty good. Steak was good but a tad over cooked. All in all good spot service and a filling meal.“

“Slice of Eden made our wedding cupcakes last year and they were fantastic! We had half of them made as chocolate with Swiss buttercream icing and half blueberry lemon cupcakes with whipped cream icing. They were a huge hit and gone so fast! We decided to have them make us a small blueberry lemon cake with whipped cream icing for our anniversary this year since we did not have one to save from our wedding. They knocked it out of the park! I can’t say enough good things about this place!“
