“The double double breakfast sandwich was delicious! I hope I can make it back soon to try the rest of their menu but I highly recommend a visit to anyone in the area. The Red Door feels like a neighborhood hangout spot with extremely friendly staff and a bright and cozy atmosphere. While I was there a customer couldn’t stop complimenting the food and staff helped another lady bring a massive order to her car across the street. With indoor and outdoor seating, it is a great place to grab a bite to eat near the pier but away from the crowds.“

“George's is the best. A true, classic, Maine-style Italian sandwich with the best, freshest ingredients. I appreciate the way they build the sandwich. They take the time and care to layer the ingredients vertically with sliced (not chopped) tomatoes and peppers so you can take a bite without the whole thing falling apart. Rolls are perfect: Maine-style, soft, chewy and flavorful, not that crunchy New York style with no flavor. I like Genoa salami with their good black olives.“

“First time at this Firehouse and it was a great example of going above and beyond for the guest. Ryana showed concern for the status of my order and educated me on how to order the most efficiently. She walked the food out to me since my hands were full with the drinks. She remembered my name from when I placed my order. She sets the bar for a leader in the food industry. The restaurant was clean and the staff were professional. She walked me through how to complete survey on the receipt but I lost the receipt but wanted to make sure I left feedback on this experience. Also the drink machine was not out of all its flavors and that is rare to fine. We will come back to this Firehouse.“

“I've been wanting to try an Amato's Original Italian sandwich for a long time and finally had a chance. The staff at this location (1108 Broadway) was very friendly, and the service was quick and efficient. The sandwich itself was tremendous. The people behind the counter were wonderful, kind and were more than willing to make sure your order was the way you wanted it. The place was a bit busy and we were a party of five. The food was okay and the prices were appropriate for the area. Nothing seemed overpriced as I look backward on future restaurants/diners. I was not blown away by the food we ate. Though this was all made up for by my amazing server Mike, he made the best sandwich i’ve ever had, and was a perfect example of what a subway employee should be. Mike needs a raise, paid time off, and some pretty lady’s for his service to this subway. 10/10 for Mike alone.“
