“I was just there about 1.5 hours ago. Definitely family owned. Even got to play pool/billiards with the owner. If I lived in port Clyde id come very often. Very welcoming and friendly.“

“Hands down the best fish-n-chips I've ever had in my life, and I've had a lot of fish-n-chips. My wife had the bbq burger which was also great! This casual and comfortable place is a hidden gem that deserves a stop. If you can't deal with the full restaurants in Rockland, try this out!“

“We recently hosted a private event at Mulligan's, and everything was perfect. Lisa was SO helpful for all of the planning and communication and the team was so accommodating and easy to work with. The food was perfect, and the spot can't be beat! It's a terrific place for a drink, for a meal, and for fun. Highly recommend!“

“First time here, got the x wing, and it was the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. Make sure to ask for some spice, gives it a perfect touch. You can count on me being back 💪🏼“

“Awesome place and awesome service too. Lily E. Is a awesome bartender and hard worker too. I will be back either sometime again this year or next year. Next time I'll have some food and drinks. Great beer drinks next time I'll get some cocktails like margaritas or something new. Happy Summer. Again Hide Ride is a awesome place. And again Lily E. Is awesome bartender. 👍“

“My review is based off of the tamales just ordered. I grew up in Panama and it was one the best treats to get fresh tamales. It didn’t happen very often- but when it did, I loved them so much. And obviously in Maine- it’s almost impossible to find them- especially authentic. I was quite impressed with Sammy’s take on tamales. Of course- they are not the exact replica of what I had- but they are very impressive. And it’s A LOT of work to make them. It’s not Taco Bell. These are real tamales and I truly hope they don’t go away. Thanks so much for adding these into the Midcoast menu taking the time. Truly delicious. 🇵🇦“

“The food was okay, but not special. The potato mash could have more flavor. But overall the dishes were good for the price.
We ordered cocktails, but No one told us about the happy hour special... A great waitress should do so in my opinion.“

“We took my sister out to eat for her birthday. We ordered 2 buckets.. seafood platter. Food was excellent! Servers were great. Even took pictures of us for me. Everyone was so polite and very fun. Food was served hot and tasted amazing. Best seafood place I've been to so far. Highly recommended. Even if prices were high, the food was well worth the 2 and half hour drive! Thank you all! 10 stars if I could give it to you.“

“Good Experience at Rock Harbor Pub & Brewery
Finding parking in Rockland is tough, especially with an RV! Luckily, after checking in at the campground, they suggested I park at Pier 2 near the Light House Museum and Police Station. I was looking for a simple bite to eat and some time to walk around, so I stopped into Rock Harbor Pub & Brewery on Main Street.
The atmosphere was great, though the service was a bit slow and disorganized. It wasn’t clear who was handling customers, but no big deal—just added a bit more time to the visit. I started with the Rock Harbor French Fries and was curious to try their Rock Harbor Beer Cheese. The fries were basic, and the beer cheese wasn't what I expected—it was more of a paste than melted cheese. For my beer, I went with the Spruce Head Stout. It had strong chocolate and coffee undertones, but the balance was a bit off—the chocolate overpowered the beer a bit. It reminded me of Young’s Double Chocolate Stout from Eagle Brewery.
For my main dish, I asked the bartender for a recommendation between the tacos or another item. She suggested the Chicken Tacos, one of the most basic items on the menu. I think there was a missed opportunity to upsell, but I understand how it is being in the industry myself. The food overall was decent, and I left a good tip for the bartender on both card and cash.
All in all, it was a good experience. I’ll definitely be back!

“May well be the best place to eat in Maine. Fantastic fresh seafood and excellent desserts. The fresh mussels are unbelievable. I had the lobster fricasse one night and the cod the other night. All right off the boat fresh cooked in a way so the seafood not the sauce dominated. For dessert I had a lemon cake on blue berry sauce and a pudding cake in toffee sauce.
Excellent service and nice views of Tenants Harbor. We stayed at the Inn and had breakfast there as well which was very good, but only available for Inn guests.
Tenants Harbor is far enough south of Route 1 the typical tourist stays away.“
