“Planning a wedding in Maine all the way from West Virginia was overwhelming, and I knew I was going to need help. Tabitha from Luxury Picnics of Acadia was absolutely amazing! She has an incredible vision and the skill to create stunning tablescapes. I had a general idea of what the table would look like, but she went above and beyond—it was even more beautiful than I imagined. She personalized the entire setup, from fresh flowers to custom name cards, and my guests were so impressed. “Wicked awesome to find a restaurant that has great food, is reasonably priced (for Bar Harbor) and also caters to food allergies! I’ve recently come up with some food sensitivities and can no longer have gluten or dairy, and these guys acted like it was no big deal at all. We will definitely be back next time we are in town!“

“Took the wifey out for a much needed date night probably the only place with a lil late night food menu chicken burger was great wings were good decent drinks bar tender was experienced drink menu a lil limited but 100 bucks plus tip for bah habba is about right…def do it again much thanks!“

“Food was delicious but the service was less than acceptable. The girl that assisted us made us feel more of a bother or inconvenience. There was only 1 coffee made out of 5 machines, not everyone is a fan of dark roast or decaf. And the creamer machine was not working. We had the bacon omelet and blueberry pancakes, delicious. Coffee just meh. Prices are Island priced.“

“This place is a MUST! Over the week we have been in Bar Harbor we have ate at A LOT of places, Tap & Barrel is hands the best meal I’ve had here by a long shot. Marina was super knowledgeable and gave 15/10 service! You will not regret stopping here and grabbing a bite to eat or even just some drinks!“

“Amazing place. Kitchen is open until 11pm which is a blessing! The staff is super chill and the food is amazing! The pulled pork sandwich is fire and so is the burger. Definitely check it out when you’re in town!“

“It was our first day in Bar Harbor and we chose Galyn’s for dinner. It was delicious. We sat on their front porch overlooking the harbor. The food was great and our waitress was so nice; very pleasant. We had the stuffed crab mushrooms, haddock sandwiches and blueberry crisp-a la mode for dessert. Yummy.“

“This restaurant was a great find! We had the burger and the chicken masala burrito, both were excellent and came out super fast! The smash burger was one of the best I’ve ever had, served with waffle fries and the butter chicken was authentic British pub style and couldn’t have been better! They had a great selection of beer also!“

“Recently visited Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. During our stay we ate here several times. Every one of our meals was delicious. Fish and chips was the highlight. First time having haddock fish and chips. Really well executed on crispy exterior and moist flakey flesh. The service was good. Met some really nice wait staff here and enjoyed the conversations.“

“By far the best meal we had on the island… definitely one of the best meals ever period. From the service to the homemade table bread (which by itself was off the charts amazing) this was a world class experience in a cozy setting. 10/10 would recommend. Thank you for a delicious meal!“
