“so it was only our second time in but the service was wonderful. food was okay had heard good things so we gave it a go. it seemed rushed and just okay but I'm not complaining, what was lacking in the food department was definitely made up for by the service, we will give it a go again and hope for a better delivery. everyone has an off night.”

“A wonderful local bakery with friendly staff. Their rosemary loaf is delicious! We visit Nobleboro from Connecticut a couple of times each year and we make sure we stop by to buy a loaf or two to take back with us.”

“Love this place. People from all walks of life. You can talk to the table next to you, and it doesn't much matter where they're from. Does that make sense? Go... you will see what I mean. The food is fantastic. The service gets 5 stars from me because they do their best with the staff shortage in Maine. The atmosphere is all about the people. Sit down and strike up a conversation with the table next to you. You'll see what I mean. I'm a little upset that they got rid of the pool table, but I can live without it.”

“First time here. Our server was fantastic. I think her name was Sharity. She was very pleasant. However, there was another server that miserably greeted and seated us. She never even smiled at the people she was serving. Otherwise we will return. Everything else, food and atmosphere were great.”

“I have to say that out of all the subways locally, this is the one for our family. LOVE this one! The guy there that has been there for a long time is amazing. He listens, accommodates and let's you try a free sample of sauces when they come out with new ones. Our sandwiches are always perfectly wrapped, no leaking and is the perfect pictured sandwhich when he makes it. We love going here when he is working. He makes the best and he should be the manager because I hear him when he's training the newbies and he truly cares and knows his stuff. Thank you!!”

“Would give a higher rating but their service wasn't great people act like they don't wanna be there.Also have screwed up our orders multiple times...food has been burned a few times but other times depending on who's working it's great!”

“We stopped in about 30 minutes before closing and asked if they would be able to accommodate us for dinner. They were very welcoming and provided us quickly with our order-steamers, 3 lobsters, a lobster roll, slaw, and fries. It was all absolutely delicious and a great dining experience. We feel like we’ve found a true hidden gem, and we look forward to coming back soon!!”

“I am just delighted that I happened to be in Damariscotta for work yesterday because I drove by a black cat themed sandwich place and decided to have lunch there, and boy was it DELICIOUS. Immediate green flag was when I asked the woman at the register (I forgot to ask her name, but she was lovely) what she recommended and she put real thought into it. She didn’t even have to upsell me on a drink or a side because I was hooked already with just how friendly she was. I ended up getting the red snapper sandwich and a side of potato salad and neither disappointed. My only regret was that I ordered my sandwich to-go when I should’ve enjoyed their dining area more and stayed a minute. I will certainly be back next time I’m in town!”

“Have to start here with the Bang-Bang Mushrooms, they are soooo good! And the serving is huge, in fact, you will not leave hungry and will probably have a take-home bag! The Western Smash Burger was excellent, and the wings are a meal themselves. We were there for an early dinner and sat in the garden area. They had some live music to entertain us as well. Seems to be a popular spot as the tables filled up quickly. Definitely going back again soon!”
