“Great, vegan pizza! Not all pizza parlors carry vegan cheese, but Portland Pie does. And it is so good. I do miss their whole wheat crusts; I really liked them, but I guess there wasn’t enough demand. But this is still absolutely fabulouspizza.

Fond memories of slab from great beer events held during Maine Beer Week years ago. Along those lines, you could always count on a great taplist with beers from Maine and further. This was a favorite spot of my wife and I to grab some slab style pizza with a brew. Their thin crust pizzas were solid as well, but my favorite food option here has always been the meatball sandwich. “We got this as a snack to go. They don't offer single slices, pies only. Counter man was friendly. Atmosphere had some shady folks hanging around but they look like they meant well. The pizza was fantastic. We got two smalls, the squash ricotta and cranberry, and a mashed potato bacon and scallion.

On paper, these do not sound like they would work on a pizza, but wow. Crust was still crunchy, and the flavors really worked together.

If you're traveling in Portland and either don't like seafood or are simply looking for an inexpensive alternative, this is the place for you.
The price/performance ratio is great.
The service was excellent and always attentive.
Only the interior is a bit spartan - there is still room for improvement.

“As I lifelong fan of Amato’s Italian Sandwiches. I love their food. My only minor issue is the accuracy in filling the order. The last two times I have used the Falmouth location the sandwiches have either had a peppers that I didn’t order or left off the tomatoes that I ordered. The orders were placed on the kiosk and the correct order was on the receipt. I will still keep eating their sandwiches but will continue to be annoyed at the errors.“

“Great local pizza spot! I highly recommend getting their pizza with bacon and meatball. Their meatball sandwich is also very good. There are many "create your own" pizza options as well with different doughs, sauce and toppings. There are TVs to watch sports in the bar area as well. On weekends and evenings it can get crowded with wait times, but overall, it is a good place to eat at or take out.
