“WOW!!! We’ve been coming to the region for so many years and it’s so great to find a place to eat like Oysterhead Pizza Co.!!! 4 of us ordered takeout. Pizza, a Calzone, a salad, the Magic Beans… everything was perfectly delicious. Fresh, tasty… we’re from NJ where people think you can’t get good pizza unless you’re in NJ/NY. Last night while eating our amazing food from Oysterhead Pizza Co., I could tell them all: Get in your cars and drive to Damariscotta for some of the pizza ever!!! We will be back for sure!!!”

“As a regular and a big fan of the menu and the food, I was terribly disappointed to find several signature items missing from the menu yesterday. No more crabmeat items?! No more salmon BLTs?! The new owner explained that he can’t make money on them because they are too expensive…. Eider’s food was expensive to begin with, but always worth it and always something to talk about. Why d*** it down?”

“I am just delighted that I happened to be in Damariscotta for work yesterday because I drove by a black cat themed sandwich place and decided to have lunch there, and boy was it DELICIOUS. Immediate green flag was when I asked the woman at the register (I forgot to ask her name, but she was lovely) what she recommended and she put real thought into it. She didn’t even have to upsell me on a drink or a side because I was hooked already with just how friendly she was. I ended up getting the red snapper sandwich and a side of potato salad and neither disappointed. My only regret was that I ordered my sandwich to-go when I should’ve enjoyed their dining area more and stayed a minute. I will certainly be back next time I’m in town!”

“the ice cream was and is the best around! customer service top notch. but please get new tables, it's not very pleasant sitting at the old tables. they are falling apart, dried on ice cream and plenty of bird poop yuk. besides not very welcoming. metal tables would last a long time.”

Next to Coastal Bookstore, the restored Lincoln Indie theater. Plenty on free parking on harbor lot. Wonderful!”

“Clean cozy spot with friendly staff. Good coffee, nice and hot. Had a cinnamon roll and a scone, both were excellent although I wish they could have heated up the cinnamon roll but they said they can't. Also, the bar seats are pretty uncomfortable, which is too bad as we like sitting at the bar and looking out the window at the street, but we wound up moving to a table which was more comfortable. Overall great spot and right on the main drag, good location.”

“What a great find! A group of 7 of us (multigenerational family members) had a wonderful brunch that included breakfast tacos, egg dishes, bacon, muffins and cinnamon rolls. Everyone was very happy. The space itself is a charming and creatively decorated former home on the Main Street with a pretty flower garden out front. The service was friendly and efficient. Highly recommended”

“Visited the Countryside Diner tonight for the first time. The food was absolutely amazing! The steak tip meal was hands down top tier! The steak melts in your mouth as well as the mashed potatos! My bf said his haddock basket was delicious and perfectly fried! They have Great portions as well! They also have a bakery section full of yummy goodies that are just as amazing! The owner was very nice and made the experience even more delightful! I highly recommend this restaurant! It's comfort food at it best! We will definitely be going back!”
