“Adorable little cafe with cozy vibes and delicious coffee. My cozyside latte was so good. I also really appreciate their commitment to eco-friendliness. All of their disposable items are compostable, the trash cans are all compost bins, and the for here cups are reusable glasses. So many places only serve their coffee in disposable cups so I have a lot of love for the places that still serve coffee in real glassware“

“Last month our flight to Portland was delayed a considerable amount of time due to weather issues and it looked as though we would not be able to make our 5p.m. reservation. My daughter called from the tarmac in Boston where we were rerouted and refueled and explained the situation. The hostess, Susie, was very understanding and compassionate And said that even though our table was booked for another party a 7, we should come in and she would see what she could do. We got there late but Susie greeted us warmly and told us not to worry about being rushed that she had arranged things so no one would be inconvenienced. The atmosphere was warm and cozy; the food so very delicious and our waitperson, Anika, was the best. Atmosphere, impeccable service, food and warmth all rate 5 stars and another visit next time we are in Portland.“

“I had a great experience at Buzz Coffee. I ordered a Hot Chai Tea Latte with Almond Milk, which was delicious! Their chai tea is one of the best in the area. They were more than happy to use my reusable cup. It is cozy and tucked away from the bustling streets of Portland’s Old Port and the cold weather outside. Seems like a great place to curl up with a good book, write or study. Thanks Buzz Coffee!

On Friday afternoon, the girl working was so kind and incredibly helpful. She took the time to explain the drinks and made sure I left with exactly what I wanted. I had the Kenya Gatina AA – washed Batian Ruru with notes of blackberry, caramel, and orange zest. It was far from my typical, and I can appreciate that the coffee was of a good quality, but my experience would've been much more enjoyable if I could've been directed to flavors more suited to my palate. We found 88 donut after finishing at Highrollers around the corner and made another stop the next day before returning to Boston. Bite-sized, hot, made to order and a complete party in your mouth. “Most of the time the crew working has been really great, now and then someone a little uninspired. The coffees have been fine. But more than once the baked goods have not been fresh. I bought a garlic bagel toasted with cream cheese last week and it was so stale I couldn't eat it. I bought a coffee yesterday and told the girl about it. She was very sweet and apologized, but I think the store should have a policy to compensate customers either with a free coffee, or a little coupon to get a free something. It makes me not want to risk buying breakfast there if the odds are that it's not going to be worth eating. Convenient location though!“

“I love Dunkin Donuts. They have the best Ice Coffees, Coolattas, smoothies bagels and more. I still consider Starbucks the best but Dunkin Donuts is the first best and favorites. Why? Cause they make they stuff that I like and love just right the way I like it.“

“I'm a gluten free vegetarian so food options are usually really limited for me. These waffles were so good I couldn't believe they were gluten free. They have BBQ jackfruit and tofu as substitutions for all their meat too! I got the gluten free strawberry waffles with BBQ jackfruit and home fries. It was super yummy. I didn't love the BBQ jackfruit but my baby devoured it and wanted it over the waffles or fries so I'm betting it's a matter of preference“

“I've shopped in many Whole Foods across the country. I have family in Portland, Maine, and I visit this Whole Foods on a frequent basis. It is large, well-stocked, and most of all, the different food stations are amazing. Made to order items at the food stations are terrific and make for a nice meal. The hot bar is also excellent. Tasty, excellent food. I look forward to frequenting the store on a regular basis.“

“My 4 star on atmosphere is simply because this location is non-stop busy. That is not remotely anything the staff can change. Tip on food...when ordering food and beverage, make the food requests first, the food comes out usually faster. As for the staff, I think they're awesome. 90% of the time they are awesome - depsite having a job where you stand all day and there is a constant stream of requests! Sure there may be a surly one every once and awhile...but just take a moment to let them know you're glad they're there and they do a complete 360 flip. And...the dog treats are a huge bonus!“

Sounds plain, but this tall 2 layer cake looked fabulous - the frosting was applied with swirls & lovely trimming rosettes and the writing was in glittering purple. Then there's the taste - the moist cake & frosting were delicious! I didn't expect this with a gluten free cake. Highly recommend Bam Bam for cake & other gluten free items.“
