“Came from out of state with the wife and no kids for a long weekend. We specifically were looking for a dive bar. Navy yard was recommend by our hotel check in girl. She said “I don’t know why anyone would go there”. So we went. And we were disappointed. It wasn’t a dive bar at all. The pool tables were in good shape the staff was super nice and the patrons were very friendly. I will come here again next year when we visit again.“

“Traveled out to Portsmouth from Wisconsin. Sick of seafood, best burger I have ever had on the east coast. Lots of tv’s to watch the games. Friendly people. Highly recommend you give it a try. Will try their lobster roll though before leaving. Had some delicious apple crisp for desert.“

“Stellar grilled cheese and fun and amazing service provided by Josh. It was our first time in, he was super friendly, made ordering easy, and the food did not disappoint. Everything was GREAT!! Make sure you get the homemade lemonade (with maple syrup instead of sugar).“
“I couldnt believe the outside of D Street (Daniel Street Tavern) today. It has an outside seating area (very clean and welcoming) as well as a NEW Food Menu. I couldnt believe how tasty the 1/4 pound lobster roll was (came with Coleslaw, pickle and small bag of chips) for $20. The alcohol free Bloody Mary was spicy/tasty and a good addition to the role. They have many deals on alcohol but also lots of non alcohol options (pop, juices and non alcoholic beer). Place is very clean and server VIVI is on her Game!!! So much more then a Dive Bar!!!!“

“My husband and I had the best experience tonight! The food was amazing. We started with the tuna appetizer and the cure wedge salad - so good! He had the filet and I had the short ribs - both were so tasty and cooked to perfection. Our server was super attentive and so personable! We’ll definitely be returning when we’re back in the area!“

“So disappointed! Made a reservation a month ago, looked forward all month to trying the chicken sandwich. Went to order…OUT OF CHICKEN. Really?? How do you run out of chicken??! Insane. On a Friday night?? What we did order was good but it would take a lot to get me to return. The service was great as was the menu, but it’s inexcusable to run out of something on a Friday night around the holidays.“

“Got introduced to “That Place” by Friends last night for my Birthday 🥳 We had dinner there and I am so very happy that we did…the food was excellent and of high quality! We had several different appetizers and 3 main meals, and dessert…everything was absolutely delicious and the service was great as well 😊 Can highly recommend “That Place” you will not be disappointed, I guarantee you will love it 😍“

“I always love coming to the Pink Bamboo. The servers are so kind, the owner is amazing, and the quality of ingredients is perfect. I always leave here so incredibly full and happy. We’ve been coming here for at least 4-5 years and no other hot pot can compete. They may have a smaller selection of broths, but it’s worth it for the quality. Thank you Pink Bamboo for all your hospitality and can’t wait to come back soon!“

“We looked at a lot of different restaurant options for dinner. I’m so glad we decided on Old Ferry Landing!!!! The food was fantastic!!! Drinks were summery and unique 🧉🍹 The lobster bisque was the best I’ve ever had!!!! And there was a great amount of lobster meat in it. I tried a bite of my boyfriend’s clam chowder as well which was also delicious but the bisque was 🤤😍 We will definitely be back!!!! Our waitress was very attentive and so sweet!!! It was so nice to dine at a place that’s been around for 50 years. I hope Old Ferry Landing is around for 50 more!!! 🦞“

“This is our second time staying at the hotel and eating at Surf 360. I love the staff. When reading past reviews that are negative about the staff, I honestly think they might be the rude type never happy. If you see a reviewer that always complains about staff it usually has nothing to do with the restaurant. The many staff I've met are accommodating, knowledgeable about the menu, and make you feel comfortable. Last night there was a gentleman at the bar where I ordered food and drinks. He was very nice when serving others before me. When I ordered we engaged in a funny conversation and he was quick with service. Today I just went over and there were 2 ladies working. Both were so sweet and helped me immediately.
The quality of food depends of what you order. My husband said the fish tacos were some of the best! Our son loved the chicken tenders and I concur. The crab cake was the only thing that didn't taste good. Hopefully they will try new recipes in the future. Macaroni and cheese was hot and delicious. Overall I highly recommend.“
