“Came from out of state with the wife and no kids for a long weekend. We specifically were looking for a dive bar. Navy yard was recommend by our hotel check in girl. She said “I don’t know why anyone would go there”. So we went. And we were disappointed. It wasn’t a dive bar at all. The pool tables were in good shape the staff was super nice and the patrons were very friendly. I will come here again next year when we visit again.“

“Traveled out to Portsmouth from Wisconsin. Sick of seafood, best burger I have ever had on the east coast. Lots of tv’s to watch the games. Friendly people. Highly recommend you give it a try. Will try their lobster roll though before leaving. Had some delicious apple crisp for desert.“

“Got introduced to “That Place” by Friends last night for my Birthday 🥳 We had dinner there and I am so very happy that we did…the food was excellent and of high quality! We had several different appetizers and 3 main meals, and dessert…everything was absolutely delicious and the service was great as well 😊 Can highly recommend “That Place” you will not be disappointed, I guarantee you will love it 😍“

“Third year update - this place continues to delight and amaze! Tried the butter toffee cake, equally great. All the pizzas are spectacular.
This is the second year in a row we had an early dinner here, and once again it was amazing.
All the dishes have a special touch to them, something unique and delectable.
The pizzas are spectacular, with wood fired char on the crust. The sandwiches are equally wonderful, each with perfectly balanced spices.
My special of the day spicy martini was one of the best I ever tasted, potent yet eminently drinkable.
The desserts are out of this world, especially the brownie sundae.
The service was terrific as well. Can't recommend this place highly enough!
Looking forward to next year!

“First time for hot pot, my 11yr kept asking do it so it became a birthday thing . Staff took us though it all, checked on us the right amount of times and really like sharing their know how. Food was above expected and they have a full menu also. Dinner for 3 with 2 drinks, 3 apps and 2 entrees with extra side just climbed over $100. Go there and be happy!“

“Every time my husband and I come to Ogunquit for vacation, this is our night #1 romantic dinner date spot. Best Thai place in Maine. Wonderful staples like pork dumplings, Panang curry and pad thai. “Lazy Jack's is a charming and cozy restaurant that I would definitely return to. It's important to set your expectations accordingly, as they provide only paper plates, plastic cups, and plastic silverware. If you’re okay with that, I highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting Portsmouth. The ambiance is very pleasant, situated on the water with a lovely view of boats passing by. It's a great place to relax and enjoy the scenic waterfront.“

“Not your standard " meat & potatoes" menu. Small plates, different offerings daily, and a creative delicious menu crafted with fresh, local ingredients. Open 4pm to 9pm, no reservations. I recommend you arrive in the parking lot about 3:45pm. The dining room and bar seats are full in less than 10 minutes. However, particularly on a weekday (this place is open year round) if you arrive around 5 or 5:30 to 6pm or so, you should get seated within maybe 15 minutes or less. The owners bought the next door and after a try at a coffee/bakery, which was wonderful, they've added a full bar with
an appetizer menu. You can walk right thru to The Central now. Forget what new part is called (maybe The Bar Next Door lol). All in all I'd give it 5 stars (or is it 4? Whatever the top # is).
