“A rare gem. Huge portions. The freshest of ingredients. Yes, they offer a Vegan special. Even better, the taste, very special. Within ten minutes, we had 4 different people check on how we were doing. We were in a rush to make the theater. They handled that very well too. A truly special place. You will leave with minds at ease and belly full.“

Premium feel, great value, mini fridge, premium coffee maker, water pot, compost and recycling, new linen, brand new towels and blankets. Receptionist was polite, staff were cordial and warming. Bathroom was phenomenal very well put together!!“

“We had a very nice dinner. My only wish was the salt potatoes had been baked longer. Our mouths were watering when the server described them to us and they tasted and looked like a boiled fingerling. Other than that the prime rib was delicious as was the pork dinner. We splurged on the ice cream sundae and didn't think about the calories and happy we did. Excellent service!“

“We loved our meal, had clam chowder and the beet salad; both were delicious. The wait staff were engaged, efficient, and delightful people.
We had car trouble, and the manager was willing to notify police, asking them not to tow our vehicle in case we could not get it towed to a mechanic until the next day. That is hospitality! We will be back!“

“Fox's Lobster House 9-6-25 We had to stop by this Lobster house for the Lobster. The lady that greeted us at the front was very friendly and answered any questions we had about this place as it was our first time there. She stated you want to sit upstairs as the views were much better. The views from upstairs were spectacular with the Ocean and Lighthouse in the background just amazing. They do have an outside Patio for dining which is rather large with shading for all to enjoy that kind of atmosphere. Now let's get to the food. I ordered a bowl of Clam Chowder, and my wife ordered a cup of Lobster Bisque for appitizers. We both ordered the Fox's Favorite Lighthouse Dinner which had 1.5-pound Lobster, Corn on the Cob with Baked Potato. Our soup came out first, it was hot and very tasty, mine was packed with clams. This had to be the best New England Clam Chowder I ever had. In fact, it was so good I did not want to share it with my lovely wife. She stated her Lobster Bisque was fantastic also. The Corn on the Cob and Baked Potato was also good, but the star of the dinner was the Soup and Lobster. Everything was hot, tasty and with the great service provided by Stella we just loved this place, and my bet is you will also. You must stop by here not only for a great dinner but the spectacular views and a visit to the Lighthouse right next door. “This place is great! Tasty burgers - I had beef and my wife had black bean. She has high standards for veggie burgers and really enjoyed it. She got the burning down the house version and loved the flavor. I got the classic and really enjoyed it. Bistro fries were very flavorful and crispy.

One comment is I ordered burger medium and it had no color. Was still juicy and I’m not picky so I still enjoyed it. Just a caution to folks who prefer their meat less well done.

Also price is very reasonable and good value. Strongly recommend!“

“I’m from the Boston area and was meeting a friend in Portsmouth for dinner. We picked Durbar Square and we’re definitely not disappointed. We had an absolutely fabulous meal there. The chicken chili was a delicious, and a different approach than any chili I’ve had before. The chicken was perfect cooked. The sauce was full of flavor. They also ask you to pick yours spice range from 1-10 so you can choose what suits you best. The owner, John, is totally engaged with his customers and if you want, can even demonstrate a yoga pose or 2 (which he is very good at). Just overall a great place to eat.“

“Just had an amazing dinner at Walkers Maine in Cape Neddick! Our waitress Brook was fantastic, helping us navigate the delicious menu. We started with complimentary bread & oil, then devoured fried oysters. I enjoyed the short rib kofta with zucchini & German potato salad, while my friend savored the salmon entree. For dessert, we had to try the in-house-made sarsaparilla-glazed donuts & ice cream. Everything was top-notch!“

Everything was delicious, the pork broke apart with just a plastic spork. Rice was well cooked and seasoned. Sheet fries were a great sharing size and delicious, not too heavy and well salted. “We had a great Independence day having lunch at the Ikko! My boys didn't stop raving about the amazing food and funny entertainment by our cook at the hibachi! My youngest even said if he had $100 he would give it to him that's how good he was LOL The service was on point, my youngest has celiac disease and allergic to gluten but had no problem as the menu was adjusted to his needs. As a picky eater, my youngest ate everything and even asked for seconds. My boys talked about booking their birthday dinners here even though its not until months away. Would highly recommend and will come back for sure!“
