“I judge a coffee shop based on a whole milk plain latte. I like to taste the latte for the notes in the espresso shot. A lot of shops don't dial in the espresso shots or the baristas stop caring because they don't think the customer can tell the difference. My latte was good, slightly caramel with accents of cocoa and nuts. It wasn't the best shot I have ever had but better then 95% of the shops I have been to around Phoenix. The chocolate croissant was really good too. I look forward to going back for my next cup.”

I decided to order the Al Pastor tacos, and they were absolutely phenomenal. The tacos were filled with tender, flavorful pork that had been marinated to perfection. The combination of spices was just right, giving each bite a delightful burst of flavor. The addition of fresh pineapple added a sweet, tangy contrast that perfectly complemented the savory pork. Every ingredient was clearly fresh and of high quality, making for a truly delicious meal.

The tortillas were soft and warm, clearly homemade and the perfect vessel for the delicious filling. I appreciated the generous portion size, which left me feeling satisfied without being overly full. The side of lime and the salsa bar allowed me to customize each taco to my liking, adding an extra layer of flavor and freshness.

Beyond the food, the ambiance of Backyard Taco is fantastic. The outdoor seating area is charming and comfortable, providing a relaxed environment to enjoy a meal with friends or family. The decor is vibrant and fun, reflecting the lively and authentic spirit of the restaurant.

In addition to the amazing tacos, the service was impeccable. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was enjoyable, and their passion for great food and customer satisfaction was evident in every interaction.

Overall, Backyard Taco exceeded all of my expectations. The Al Pastor tacos were some of the best I've ever had, and the welcoming atmosphere and excellent service made for an unforgettable visit. The meat literally fell off the bone, which I loved. It was nice and tender and not overdone. Could have used a little bit more bbq sauce. The baked potato and roasted corn sides were delicious. The nachos were ok. Not bad, but I probably would not order them again. Overall, I was pleased with the order and will return in the future.”

The burger was really good but I thought the fries, while plentiful for a medium, were soggy. Cashier was very helpful and friendly. Place was doing pretty good business and was patroned by a wide range of ages.”

They were so outgoing and had excellent customer service. I ordered a Non dairy berry smoothie that was delicious and also received a free loaf of country white bread. “Firehouse subs on Superstition is AWESOME! My husband and I go every week! The guy who left the nasty review thinks he's better than everybody else. He was condescending and arrogant. We were there and witnessed his actions. The employees did NOTHING wrong.. we will continue to eat there. THE BEST!!!!”

“Came in a few weeks ago, I forgot to write my review, I was with a few friends , I was so happy the place is very clean, it was a bit busy , we were seated right away our server Michelle, was amazing she suggested some dishes for us , I had the meaty melt on the bread that they serve it on it is amazing, it was cooked to perfection, my friend had a Lumberjack, he raved about his eggs he had them poached, the food was hot and didnt take long at all, Michelle was very helpful and sweet, I definetly recommend”

“Everything is very clean and neatly labeled. I do wish that they had more of a variety with the greens they offer like Mekong does. Overall, this place is a wonderful place to shop if you're looking to familiarize yourself with Asian ingredients as everything is very well labeled. The fish is fresh and of superb quality as well as their meats! I love the selection of food they have.

That being said, staples like mushrooms, herbs, and greens will be more affordable at Mekong. Despite this, I shop at both and love what both have to offer.”
