“Great little neighborhood spot with a manageably diverse menu. Lots of dessert options and a few snacks and mains. Went yesterday for their first wingding Wednesday and had some delicious wings and banana pudding ice cream. We’ll be making this a regular summer spot. Really happy you’re here and looking forward to everything you’re doing!“

“Highly recommend this place! We frequently cross the border from Canada and usually stop nearby for tacos. We decided to try this spot after finding it on Google, and I’m so glad we did!
I called shortly before closing to make sure they were still serving, and they said they serve right up until their posted closing time. We quickly drove over, and the girls were so friendly and helpful, even though it was close to closing. We got the corn in a cup, and it was delicious!
This will definitely be our new go-to spot. Great food and even better customer service! Unfortunately, no pictures because we devoured the corn 😂“

“The absolute BEST. Their customer service is unreal — staff really goes above and beyond. We felt welcomed and valued as new customers. And there are so many unique things to try at this place! The perfect spot for a sweet treat. They have a lot of the trending desserts like that fruit ice cream on a stick, mini pancakes, and Dubai strawberries. And then also a lot of the classics like homemade ice cream and agua frescas.“

Stoped by en route back into Detroit and picked up a “small” ice cream cone, when in fact I got the largest swirl of ice cream I’d ever seen. All very creamy and sweet, perfect for a summer day. Can’t ask for anything more.“

“The doughnuts are stellar and so is the customer service! I was greeted and served by the owner; he was patient and kind as I asked flavors and such (because they weren’t labeled). The strawberry glazed and strawberry doughnut holes were my favorite. The ice cream was a bit soft, like the freezer had been left open of wasn’t working properly.

Aside from the soft ice cream, I have no complaints. The owner appeared to be working alone, but still delivered top tier customer service.

“I have been going to this place since I was 8 years old. I met the girl that would give me my first kiss there and the staff are some of the most wonderful people you'll ever meet. I'm 32 and married now and have almost a lifetime of memories associated with Miracle Soda Shoppe. It is a place where a kid can literally be surrounded by the innocence of childhood. I feel terrible that I never thought to leave a review for them sooner, I have been by a few times in my adulthood and it was the same as it was when I was a kid. “Firstimer. My usual ice cream parlor that I have been going to for years closed, located this gem, called to confirm that they carry Superman ice cream. To my surprise they did I went right over and was delighted to the utmost. Both Allie and J rendered exceptional customer service and suggested the ice cream nachos, a super hit!! Definitely will stop by every time I'm in the D! Also has seating and many other sweets available that also look decadent! Soo happy that I stopped by!!“
