7 Best Ice Cream Shops in Grand Haven

“Simple, delicious ice cream experience. The first time I went, my cup wasn't big enough and they wouldn't give me a bigger cup or split it up into two cups. They did give me an extra cup, but doing it myself was extremely messy. They were pretty rude about it too, so I had to drive home with this dripping all over my car. Second time I went for ice cream (months later) they accidentally gave me soft serve, but they remade it for me and it was in a bigger cup with a top, so much easier to transport. Everyone was kind and helpful this time around. I would recommend them after this last interaction. It's a very popular spot where lots of older and middle aged couples hang out. There's limited parking, but there are a few tables for people to sit and socialize while you eat.“

“Happy Memorial Day! I have visited all of the ice cream locations including Sweet Temptations today. For several years I have gotten multiple flavors on a single scoop ice cream cone at all locations and there was a smaller size option. Help me understand why there are different prices and sizes at different locations? Same ice cream. Same homemade cones. Same service. Don’t try to say it’s different shops. It’s the same company!!! Very disappointed that I could not get my two favorites with getting a double that is too big for me. If you are scooping into the ice cream twice, two flavors is reasonable. In addition you have no way to leave a comment card or feedback without posting on your social media. Sad Temptations lover of decades here.“

“We went here a couple times during our stay in Grand Haven. Homemade ice cream with generous portions. Cones are served on waffle cones. Walk up service only when we went. Small amount of outdoor seating available.“

“My hubby & I are fans as it is, but tonight we were very impressed. The GH location was on Fox news, and as you would expect, the place was swamped! (We did go to Ferrysburg though.). Anyway, the young man in charge as well as 3 teen girls were so awesome! They were happy & hustling! It was refreshing to see young people working hard and working so well together! Plus of course, we loved our shaved ices!“
