“Two nights ago , my wife and I dined at Al Shallal, a Lebanese family owned and operated restaurant. We were warmly greeted by hostess/server Nourhan and offered menus. My wife ordered an absolutely delicious falafel plate that was accompanied by a marvelous tahini sauce and rice. I chose the perfectly spiced and prepared mixed grill (beef kabob, chicken tawook and beef kafta served with a pungent garlic sauce and rice. Our order included, as a prelude, a choice of salad or soup. We opted for the homemade (all items we ordered were made from scratch) chicken lemon soup: shredded chicken, and rice in a deeply flavorful lemony chicken broth (yum). Our servings were generously portioned and absolutely scrumptious. Following the meal, we ordered homemade, once again, baklava and a small pot of a cardamom infused Lebanese coffee. Food heaven. Nourhan was an absolutely wonderful server (daughter of the owners who were the chefs). We have dined at many Lebanese, Iraqi and Iranian restaurants. Al Shallal, in Dearborn Heights , Michigan ranks at the very top for quality, price, taste, presentation, authenticity and service. Thank you Nourhan and family.“

“I am from michigan and have eaten at hundreds of restaurants. I was craving arabi food after landing from a trip near airport and found this gem. Tastes like the food i had in Lebanon. Fatoush is perfect and most other places can’t get it right. Meat was juicy and cooked to perfection and they have great service. I devoured it and will be making the drive back here regardless of if I have a flight to catch or not. 10000/10 recommend“

And my god, the atmosphere was just something else! The prison vibes were so accurate I felt like I was never gonna get out of this place, although I actually forgot that I have indeed murdererd someone and deserve to be in here! Absolutely crazy.
Also the variety of the food was great! Chicken and shrimp are only some of the few extravagant choices on the menu, but they are by far my absolute favorites (although I thought they tasted quite similar).
And the service was also ambsolutely amazing! The waiter (also the cook) was kind enough to provide me with a menu as soon as I entered and cleared a table for us by scooping up the remains of previous guests' food with a plastic tablecloth and making it magically dissapear like a wizard! And such grace in his movements! Truly the mark of a professional at work!
All in all the best restaurant experience I have ever had in my life!

“So We used to Go to Golden Chicken With our Family because of their Amazing and delicious food and amazing atmosphere and glad that we find out that the Subs Shop right infront of “Golden Chicken” Called “Golden Subs” is also Affiliated with Golden Chicken. But we usually split the platter for 2 when we are both eating here because it lets you try multiple things and gives you way more food. we always have leftovers so we get to eat more of this amazing food later on. All the meat has been juicy and tender. We love the rice with the almonds in it. Everything is just delicious! Can't wait to come back. I want to try other things because they have so many things that sound good but we also love what we get already so it's so hard to switch it up! lol Might have to try something new next time though just to see what else we like. It is widely eaten in northern parts of the country. It is mainly served for lunch. The base is a brown meat stew called maraq, a dollop of fenugreek froth, and sahawiq or sahowqa (a mixture of chillies, tomatoes, garlic, and herbs ground into a salsa). A couple fresh hot outta the oven, Malawah Bread is one of the many kinds of bread eaten in Yemen. Absolutely phenomenal first visit to Fattoush Village Café!
This little slice of Middle Eastern heaven is just down the street from my office, and as a huge fan of Middle Eastern food, I had a serious craving for garlic paste—Fattoush Village delivered. I ordered the Lamb Shawarma wrap lunch special, and wow… the flavors are to die for. The wrap came with rice and a drink for just $12.99, and honestly, the portion is so generous it’ll cover me for two lunches. Win!
I also added a side of falafel (because how could I not?), which was another slam dunk. It was crispy, flavorful, and perfect.
The service? Wonderful. It was super warm and welcoming—I’m guessing it’s a husband-and-wife duo behind the counter. Both smiled and greeted me, even from behind the grill. While I waited, they offered me a taste of their lentil soup,-- and it was delicious, rich, hearty, and full of flavor.
