Leo’s Coney Island Reviews
Waitress never check on me once. I watched her walk past me 3x. I had to call her over. My drink tasted like nothing and she left it on my bill. No biggie since I was able to get it removed at the counter. Watched her not greet customers which I would get past. what I can't is get over was as I am paying my bill we watch the cook grab rice with gloveless hands and put it on someone's plate. This sucks cuz I love coney. This is my 2nd horrible visit. I don't usually give bad reviews...read full review
We were invited by friends we haven’t seen in quite a few years. They are in their 80 plus years. I ordered battered fish and chips. They ordered salads. My fish arrived greasy inside and out with cold fries. I didn’t want to appear rude, so I ate what I could for 10 minutes and then let my plate sit. The waitress asked if I wanted anything else, but we were 10-15 minutes away from leaving and I didn’t want them to wait for me. Sometimes you lose and I lost this one. Thx...read full review

Leo's Coney Island is a popular local restaurant known for its great soups, sandwiches, and generous portions. The staff is super friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible with front and rear access and a spacious floor plan. It is a family-managed franchise that has become a favorite among many, especially for the fish and chips on Fridays. Recently, customers have praised the Flint style coney, noting its perfection in every bite. The Greek salad and lemon rice soup have also received positive remarks. Visitors often find the place clean and open, with a cozy yet slightly dated atmosphere. The restaurant offers quick seating even when busy, and the friendly staff makes sure all needs are met. The food is consistently good, with crunchy onion rings, large gyros, and tasty coney dogs. Some guests mentioned that the Philly cheese sandwich is good but can become soggy if the bread isn't toasted, and it lacked sauce. Overall, Leo's Coney Island continues to be a go-to spot for satisfying meals and friendly service.
