“A group of us ladies who are deaf and/or HOH (hard of hearing) came together to celebrate our friend’s birthday yesterday (1-3-25) and we had a waiter, Jarrod, who I MUST SAY had wonderfully serviced us. He was very understanding and patient to take individual orders. He was personable and friendly. I am able to speak and hear some and “helped relaying” some communications for my friends and TBH, this guy Jarrod, is just freaking AWESOME! He actually got all the orders right (with a slight mistake on 2 similar fish N chips dinner…which is not a big deal at all). I have to tell you just how gosh-darn impressed I was with him! 5 stars for him? Nahhh, I give him a 10! The foods were deliciously wonderful. The atmosphere was very nice and friendly. I LOVE this place and hope to return someday and have THIS GUY, Jarrod, waiting on me/us again! 🙌👍🤟“

“I was worried when we tracked down a staff person and the person from the desk came over to take my food order AND make my drink! But he was friendly, helpful, and made a great cocktail!

The online menu is a decoy....they offer nothing on it! So, don't even bother with it!

I was further concerned when the Quesadilla I ordered, for upcharged $9 for shrimp!!!! It wasn't worth $20......but it WAS delicious! I'm talking, seasoned and grilled to perfect. So all and all, we have no complaints!“

“A special day. A special night. Couldn't be better. Arranged by our son and daughter. The waiter did everything, except eat our food. The wines were a delight and the steak and salmon were prepared with artistry. He guided us with each entre and the salad was shared by us with dressing aside. “Great location, easy to find. Stopped in early on a weeknight. Not much going on, but the bartender was friendly enough, the beer was cold, the counter was clean and the few other customers were all friendly and enjoying themselves.

“Game Day at CJ Mahoney's
With no way to catch the big game at home, CJ Mahoney's was the perfect destination. Nestled in a cozy booth, we had our own personal TV, the perfect setup for an immersive viewing experience.

We kicked off the game with a classic Supreme Pizza, a cheesy, saucy delight topped with a colorful array of ingredients. While she sipped on a couple of refreshing 7 and 7's, I opted for a crisp Diet Coke. Later, we indulged in a flavorful cheese Quesadilla, a cheesy, crispy treat that hit the spot.

Despite the packed house, the staff handled the crowd with impressive efficiency. They were friendly, attentive, and kept our drinks flowing.

CJ Mahoney's has become our go-to spot for game day. The combination of great food, friendly service, and a lively atmosphere makes it a winner in our book.“

“I went to Time Out on a Friday night around midnight in search of some late night grub. It seemed as if this was the only place open in Waterford! I tried the chicken fingers and fries, and they were great! ?? You might say how hard can that be to cook? I've been to other places that it seemed like I told them to cook a dinner impossible. Anyway, the waitstaff was awesome and attentive, plenty of TV screens, there was a great dj spinning that night as well. About 30 people came in not too long after me and atmosphere livened up considerably. The Time Out is definitely a vibe! Oh yeah, I don't drink, but I can vouch for the Coca-Cola tasting good, too ?“

“first time there for Lions tailgate party! Absolute awesome place to watch the game. Donnie the manager was very attentive to our larger party. Kaylie was awesome at taking care of us. Good time all around had by all. The $16 buffet pre game was a great value, and the food was excellent. Highly recommend checking out the tailgate party before every game!“

“I took my two son’s here today. My youngest has autism and others’ kindly describe him as “a handful.” Accurate. The server comes over and asks for our drinks. She brings them back and my son just throws the cup across the aisle. And then laughs. Autism is super fun like that. Lauren (the server) was super nice about the mess. Another female server cleaned up the milk. They were both very understanding and it helped so much - probably more than they realize! I tipped them both but I hope a manager sees this, because, they are awesome employees!! You’re lucky to have them!“
