“What a wonderful evening at Capital Grill in Troy last night celebrating a 90th birthday. All nine of us thoroughly enjoyed the food from the apps through the desserts. Kona crusted strip as always the bomb and perfectly cooked. No one beats Capital Grille's calamari. Jay took great care of us as well as did all of the employees who treat you like royalty. Look forward to our next visit...as soon as the money tree spouts some more money!“

“These are some of the best cookies and small baked goods I've had since I stopped baking myself! I have not tasted anything yet that I wasn't an immediate fan of, so much so that I have to pace myself to eating just one or two a day instead of my entire purchase when I get home. The scones are the most moist and tasty I've ever had (even the jalapeno, which I didn't think I'd like). The mini-banana breads are a delight, and the cookies (especially the Snickerdoodles) just take me right back to my mother's/aunt's/and my own baking! Just a wonderful shop!“

The door to the restaurant is narrow, a single door, which could be problematic for someone in a wheelchair for example, it is also a pull door with a small handle, which could also present difficulties for someone. Upon entering, the line to order food also intersects with tables for seating creating a very narrow area, but also a very overstimulating one. The kitchen is not blocked off by a full wall, thus the sounds from the kitchen, staff, and people eating presents a very noisy environment that could be overstimulating for some, and also make it challenging for someone with a hearing impairment to hear. Though this could present an issue for someone, the website offers the menu and screen reading is available, thus this could help someone determine what they want to eat prior to going inside, which could aid the audio issue but also prevent anxiety around ordering in a busy and loud area. There are three big windows at the front, and on a sunny day there is nothing to block it, which could be another barrier to accessibility. “Perfect service and great food! Even the Bloody Mary he had was good. Had a breakfast sandwich on their house baked bread with a bowl of berries. Great choices on the menu. My ice tea was never empty nor was his coffee. Definitely will return despite being a bit far for us. Can't wait for weather to warm to sit on the patio!“

“We tried this bakery/cafe and the food was wonderful. I had a combo with chicken salad and slightly spicy tomato basil soup on the best grain bread and a delightful cinnamon oatmeal cookie. I could eat this every day and not get tired of it. I'll be in there every time I'm in the area to try different things, but I'm sure most of the time it will be chicken salad and tomato basil. Yum yum and yum!“

“I came here to support a local women owned business for women's history month. It's a small bakery in downtown Rochester Hills located in the alley behind Main Street. Staff were friendly and helpful. I picked out a few treats to share with my women's group. I got a few treats for myself and I definitely want to come back and try some other items. I got a pistachio eclair. It was good but the inside cream was a little runny side. I would have liked to taste more of the cream but it all dripped out each time I bit into it. I can't wait to come back and explore more of their selection of bakery treats.“

“Came here for brunch with a group of friends and we had a great time. I ordered the blueberry Ricotta pancakes with lemon curd, potatoes, jalapeno polenta, and Earl Grey tea. The pancakes were so delicious, you didn't even need syrup. The potatoes were cooked well, but could have used more seasoning. The polenta was creamy and flavorful. My tea was enjoyable and tasted like high quality Earl Grey.The only negative is the customer service could have been better. The waiters weren't very attentive or personable. We found ourselves having to flag them down or get up and find a staff person if we wanted something. Could have just been an off day though. Totally coming back. This is an awesome place for brunch.“

“We got this place last night for dinner- My first time having Cottage Inn (not the hubby) and it was mind blowing! My kid loved it, they have the good ranch, the garlic cheese bread comes with this little butter garlic dip (that you don't have to pay extra for). Pizza was absolutely perfect. Perfect amount of toppings per slice ratio. I can't wait to try their other menu items as they have such a unique menu!“

“This is one of my favorite restaurants ever! Their bread is delicious and every dish I have tried there has been amazing, especially the Maryland chicken and the seafood pan roast. Service is pretty fast considering how busy they usually are. The ambiance can be a little noisy sometimes but you can usually still have a conversation.“

“Here again from California and had to come here to dine. It's located in the mall and there's plenty of parking. We came on a Monday without reservations and there was only a 10 minute wait. I highly recommend this restaurant it's perfect for date nights, girls night out , and even more. It was crowded with a lively crowd and the vibe was amazing. We were seated at a comfy booth and in no time our server Allie arrived. She was super helpful and sweet. We actually came here for the delicious ooey gooey carrot cake. But we ended ordering the Hong Kong chicken, veggie burger, lemonade,and the spicy margarita. Everything was delicious and all in all a great experience as usual. The portions were a tad bit small, but it is expected with places like this. My boyfriend got the angel of the seas pasta, and he said it's one of the best seafood pastas he's had in a while.Although the food was great, service was just ok. “I was not impressed with the breakfast offerings, I was told “99% of people don’t eat the second piece of toast” as to why I only got one piece with my omelette! Unheard of!! Also, for $3 coffee, I felt as if they only wanted me to have a couple cups, they didn’t fill up my cup on refills full , 3 times. The omelette tasted well done and almost like the eggs were poured from a carton, overpriced for 2 adults and a kids chicken tenders- over $40☹️“

“Okay so when I eat sushi, I truly only ever get tuna, salmon, and veggie rolls. So speaking on just those roll variations, they were great. I had a Veggie Lava roll and this was the BEST veggie roll I’ve ever eaten at any sushi place. I had never even seen anything like it. It was very good. My experience overall was pleasant and the atmosphere is really nice. The place isn’t huge. When I went it wasn’t busy and it was fairly quiet which was nice. I will say the tables and chairs were low, so tall people be warned, you may want to sit in the sushi bar area.“
