“my husband and I recently dined here. he had the goat curry and I had the Malaxiangguo. we both enjoyed our meals tremendously. at one point, my husband looked like a toddler just learning to eat if judged by all the residue of food on his lips and fingers. lol. “There's no better place I'd recommend for lunch in Battle Creek than Cafe Rica. It's never a bad day to stop in and get a rosti pollo quesadilla and a maple latte to have while enjoying the lively atmosphere, and catching up with old friends.or on classwork. Oh yeah, and they have the best (and freshest) cold brew that I've tasted. It's consistently smooth and refreshing, and you can tell that they really know what they're doing with their coffee. they have something special going on here.”

“I've worked there as well eaten there a number of times. My best friend left so there was an opening. Shawn was the server I replaced. Shawn was a awesome server she went above and beyond so I knew I had some big shoes to fill. One good thing for my advantage to is me and Shawn act a lot alike, walk alike so for a while I had to let customers know I'm hrt little sister. She is by far one of the best at what she does to make sure the guests left happy and most important they had an experience like no other. I modeled alot of her ways because being a waitress is just her title. Needless to say I had fun with the option to be her or me. Her passion goes deeper than serving a meal. It's her whole heart loving what she does best.”

“Caribou coffee is one of my go-to places I prefer this place a hundred percent over a biggbys or a Starbucks even a Tim's.
Me and my husband were searching for a place that was similar to Dutch Bros down in Tennessee and this place is the closest we have gotten to it their drinks are made with all in-house ingredients especially in the fall when they do their pumpkin flavored drinks It's actually pumpkin that they use and not the flavoring.
They are super affordable and they even offer actual extra large coffees nobody does that.”

“Wonderful little shop for an afternoon snack. 8” pepperoni and a fountain drink for $11. The pizza was done perfectly. The crust was crispy and the mozzarella just turning brown. Undercarriage was OK and no pizza flop…though it was a small one. The crust had a buttery flavor it, and though crispy, the dough still had a buttery flavor. It was a bit greasy, but that proves the cheese and the meat are real!!

My husband went to get Biggby this morning and even though he has been with me for years to order my drink...and it isn't hard...Frozen Neopolitain with no whip...my husband couldn't exactly remember! You got to love husbands, they try! However, as soon as the batrista saw my husband's Jeep he goes oh, no your wife normally gets espresso in it, we will make a new one! THE biggest and certainly in my experience, THE BEST subs. Jackie and I got The Boss with everything-everything. WOW! I've never had a better deli or sub sandwich.

“Some donuts, ice cream and food. This place is a hidden gem of a place. It’s a small town ice cream shop that serves homemade donuts and hard ice cream. They also have a food menu that is very reasonably priced and tasty. I didn’t take photos of the food, but the coney dog, pulled pork sliders and French fries were delicious!!!The ice cream is always top notch and the flavor I got today, caramel apple and it was amazing. The waffle cones come plain, chocolate covered, chocolate sprinkled, or chocolate and peanuts. The plain was flavorful and thin so it was not so hard or thick to over power the ice cream.The people who work there are all very friendly and accommodating. You never feel that you’re unwelcome. Definitely a plus.The inside gives you a feel of an ice cream store in the past. It has some things inside that will remind you of some early childhood memories. The outside is done nicely with seats and tables under a covered area which allows you to mingle and eat your food.The bonus is they have all sorts of fall things for sale such as flowers and pumpkins. The also have some bean bag toss games for all to play while having a hay ride that the family can enjoy ever half hour I believe.Stop on by and enjoy a nice Sunday while enjoying some good food, ice cream and donuts. Oh, they also have pies for sale too and they were delicious last year.”

We stoped by this location a few months ago, The staff answered my questions and got my order correct. The food was hot and fresh. Schlotzsky’s is one of the most underrated fast food places. Whenever I'm near one I make sure to stop by.

Parking: Parking can be a little difficult to find.”

I buy a slice of torte, have to call ahead for the hard rolls and maybe a pastry. Stock up on Rudolph’s rye or leinsamen breads. Don’t care for their deli sandwiches. The only other bakery that comes close is Sarkozy’s in Kalamazoo, but not tortes there.”

We got the Pad Thai with Chicken and Drunken Noodles with beef. Both were really good. The flavor was good and the quantity is plenty.

We also got the veg spring rolls. They were huge (failed to take photo) and the outside was done perfectly with crisp, however the middle was still a bit cold. Still ate them!

Worth a try and a good Thai option for the area! We will be back.”

We had mac-n-cheese, baked beans, Cole slaw, and cornbread. All were great, having a distinctive flavor to this eatery. We swear there was a special ingredient in the cole slaw, giving it a sweet fruity flavor we LOVED. Can't wait to try all the other dishes.”

I was hoping that I was going to be able to redeem an expired coupon, and I had gotten out of the queue after it was explained that I wouldn't be able to. Taylor, the clerk was very polite, and she handled it rationally. I wasn't trying to be rude, I just was attempting to redeem an old coupon. I do appreciate this local business, and will return later down the line.

Really it was all a sunk cost fallacy, time spent on the coupons, and time spent with the coupons in my wallet being a "Loss". It's really a silly way to look at it all, but I do enjoy using the coupons, and I do truly appreciate how to situation was handled.
