“We are pretty careful when we order from a Chinese restaurant we haven't had before, as most of the time it is either really good or really bad. We've struggled to find a really good place since we moved to Belleville, but decided to try out Pearl River. Safe to say, we found our place! Everything we ordered was really good. Lots of flavor and the portions are so big that you'll definitely have leftovers. The fried rice and lomein was especially good. The dumplings are huge and have a lot of dough, and the crab rangoon is of the sweet variety. Mongolian beef is also really good with a tasty sauce. Our only gripe is that we wish the food came in the plastic takeout containers instead of styrofoam, as some of them began to leak. This will be our go-to place for Chinese takeout from now on.“
“Are you Looking for good Chinese food for delivery, china City in Belleville has great food and the best delivery driver. Had delivery today and driver dropped the 100$ that I gave for dinner. Later got call saying driver dropped money and luckily cuz of wind I looked out side and there was the money called back to tell them we found money, driver came back to pick up money and gave us delicious appetizer for finding money ..best food in Belleville“
“Wonderful little place with fantastic food. We had the Korean fried chicken, scallion pancakes, fried spring rolls and steamed dumplings (yeah, I know we pigged out a little). Sorry, I always forget to take a picture before starting to eat. Everything was delicious The bathrooms are also very clean. We don’t live close, but I’ll definitely make sure we stop here next time we’re in the area.“
“Ordered take-away: Szechuan Chicken dinner. The chicken meat looked like good quality from first glance, same for the vegetables and it was much better than the Chineese place by my house. The dinner was a Styrofoam container full of food, 2 scoops of chicken fried rice, was enough for 3 people to have a bowl which really hit the spot. We ordered it spicy and it was indeed spicy with a good amount of gravy sauce. Fantastic food and value will be coming back soon!“
“Love this place! The food is excellent and they are very nice and accommodating--we got there 20 minutes before they opened one day and they waved us right in after spotting us in parking lot. The shrimp fried rice is the best I have ever had. Hot and sour soup is very tasty! If you are looking for a nice quiet place with really great Chinese food at affordable prices this is it.?“
“Everybody reading this probably has their own favorite Chinese restaurant. China Gate has been around for a long time and it is always great. My cashew chicken had fresh veggies, big mushrooms (hate them, wife eats them for me) and a LOT of big cashew pieces. And the eggrolls are the best part. I do not know what they make them with, but it is a food I crave. Reasonable prices and large portions. Dont change a thing!!“
“This is a cozy little restaurant most people might not glance at twice. But it was a great experience. The service was wonderful, the food delicious, and the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. My fiancé and I tried a variety of things, and were not disappointed. We definitely will be returning here again.“
“The Pad Thai reminds me of Thailand. which is the only place I’ve had Thai food so it’s hard finding the same taste here ..but this one is hard to beat. I didn’t get a fortune cookie but I’ll take that to mean I’m on the right path lol..“
“This is an excellent little Chinese place. Not really made for eating inside, small and pretty dingey, but I'm pretty sure you could if you really wanted to. It seems like 95% percent of people order take-out including myself. I usually get chicken and broccoli with the shrimp fried rice and some egg/spring rolls with some egg drop soup and its always hot, even when I get home. The food is fresh tasting, they never skimp you on the ingredients and in fact, give you as much as they can or more. I definitely recommend this Chinese restaurant.“
“We decided to try here for the first time and I was very impressed! I got the wonton soup, which was a decent size, about a cup and came with fried wonton cracker strips to put in it. We got the eggrolls, which I didn’t love. I got the fried wontons, which were good as well. I also got the beef lo mien, loved it! And my kids got the sweet and sour chicken and fries, all of which was very good. We will be back, it was also very affordable!“
“This is the BEST Chinese food I’ve tasted in a while!! I’m always trying to find a Chinese place with the type of rice I like and I finally found it! Almond chicken is so juicy and crispy and it has some type of seasoning on top that taste so good! Also reasonable price for 2 people!Parking: It’s in a little strip mall but it has some parking“
“I had heard people say good things about Sichuan Restaurant so I decided to take my niece there for lunch last week. I can't really rave about anything but the service. The employees were wonderful. My niece is disabled and the Szechuan staff bent over backwards to help us. The food, on the other hand, is what I would classify as average.“
“I go here pretty often and I always get the sweet and sour combo. Everyone here is always so nice and the food is always a quick fix for comfort food! I love coming here!Parking: Parking is easy to find unless they’re busy! Even then, they’re always super quick so no one stays for long.“
“I have been going to lucky garden since I was a little girl. I have always loved the place and it has always been my favorite Chinese restaurant. I have enjoyed the staff over the years and the food is delicious. When I was a child, there was a woman who waitressed and she knew our order by memory and there would be times we would go months without seeing them. It always surprised us that when we would return, she could remember our faces and our orders. She was always so kind and sweet. Unfortunately, I do not know her name but I always wondered how she was in life over time. I definitely have fond memories of her and this restaurant. Now, there are times where it hasn’t met my previous expectations, but it was far and in between. Today is my birthday and I wanted to go to my favorite Chinese place. In conversation, I mentioned my birthday and a a couple staff members—a young gentleman and a young lady— told me Happy Birthday. That was very sweet in general, but the young woman then went the extra mile and proceeded to ask me if I liked and wanted soup. I chose a flavor out of 3 and was given a container of soup for free for my birthday. It was very sweet and thoughtful and I am so grateful. Thank you for your service!“
“We had moved to Canton from Troy about 6 years ago and we have not been able to find a local take-out restaurant that offers authentic and traditional Chinese dishes until we tried their food in the traditional section of the menu! Although not as good as Chinese food offered in the Toronto area the taste and the quality is comparable to what you would get in more authentic Chinese restaurants in Troy! Their traditional Chinese menu is a little over priced but this will be our ONLY local go-to restaurant for authentic (Not-Americanized) Chinese take-outs. Keep up the good work!!“
“Very small restaurant serving authentic Shanghai-style Chinese food including some dim sum items on weekend afternoons. Make sure to ask for the Chinese menu (which has both Mandarin and English labels) not the very limited American-style menu.Slight extra charge for using a credit card.“
“Very nice place to eat at for low budget. I bought the seafood special. It was very delightful. All your veggies and meat in one. Soup was good. And this place has teriyaki chicken (chicken on a stick). It's been awhile to eat at a Chinese restaurant that has specific food. However scenery is decent. Music seems to be classic rock for some odd reason, would be nice to listen to cultural music.“
