“Oh Happy day, this place closed months ago and was put up for sale. This great Greek family just reopened Monday, we had to visit. Yes same family, Ma & Pa with the daughter welcome all those long time customers with a smile. Thanks Sidney our superstar waitress, you a keeper. Check they Facebook page everyday for Specials. Had a outstanding sandwich named the Smokestack OMG. Corned Beef, Ham n Turkey on Toasted thick Greek Bread with Cheese and sauce. A true gut stuffer, could barely finish it. She had the half Deep Fried Chicken spot on delicious. Marvelous Bean n Ham Soup made in house. This folks a Downriver Gem , place been a restaurant over 80 years with different names. Easy to find just a hundred yards off I-75 the Rockwood exit. Spotless clean everything and friendly staff, a must visit. “One of the few places in the area that still uses a traditional pizza oven and they do it absolutely right. Been going here for over 30 years. Original owner and current owner both exceptional people. The party pizza is a must for a family function. Everyone will love it.“

“The food was delicious! Had a bunch of people so we shared stuff along with a couple of personal items.
We had: 2 mashed potato pizzas with extra potatoes; a chicken fajita pizza; a Reuben dipster; an original dipster; antipasto salad; a grilled chicken salad; and we took home 2 subs for later (haven't had those yet but I'm sure they'll be awesome 😎) EVERYTHING was yummy!!!
The best part is that they are wheelchair accessible. There's a ramp to get into the building and the manager moved tables around so we could get the wheelchair in comfortably. ❤️❤️❤️ I'm not sure the bathroom would be easy to navigate with the chair but fortunately that wasn't a worry today.

“My husband and I stopped in for an earlier dinner. I had the ribeye steak. A little hiccup with the kitchen (requested medium rare, got well done). But without me asking, the General Manager, Laura, took care of it. Dinner was really good. Our waitress was Jennifer. She's the best. Consistent, friendly, and she is a really good server. “After seeing mixed reviews. I still decided to give it a try. I got the sweet and sour chicken dinner. I do like their location because they use the red sauce for the sweet and sour and I was satisfied with the taste and texture. There was a good amount of food especially for two people and we still have leftovers for the next day. Everything seemed to be just as good or better than most Chinese food places. The outside of the building could use some TLC and the inside could use some updating and inviting waiting area. Kind of like your typical take out. It wasn't something I was impressed with. Other than that the menu that they have listed on here is very old menu so do you expect to pay higher prices about three or four dollars higher to be expected.“

“My husband bought my birthday cake from the bakery, and it was the most delicious cake we’ve had. Everyone complimented how wonderful the cake was. Amazing as is their other items. The pizzas, the subs, and the baked goods can’t be beat. 5 star ⭐️ rating“

“I had Amaya’s cater my baby shower for around 40 people. They delivered the food and set everything up. It was super easy to get everything ordered and they were super nice. I couldn’t recommend them enough!“

“Cameron came to our table and sat down to go over the specials with us. He was extremely friendly, knowledgeable about the entire menu. When he mentioned the lemon rice soup I told him that was my favorite and he brought us a complimentary cup for each of us to try. As you can tell by the pictures it was absolutely wonderful. I do like mine a little more soupy but the flavor was off the charts. We ordered omelettes which were absolutely delicious and we also ordered the Club Sandwich. I did ask to have my hash browns extra extra well done, they were not and that would be my only complaint. Otherwise the whole experience was wonderful. I would give this restaurant a 9 out of 10 and we would most definitely come back to try other things on the menu. The entire staff appears to be very friendly and welcoming. This place I would definitely recommend.“
