“Oh Happy day, this place closed months ago and was put up for sale. This great Greek family just reopened Monday, we had to visit. Yes same family, Ma & Pa with the daughter welcome all those long time customers with a smile. Thanks Sidney our superstar waitress, you a keeper. Check they Facebook page everyday for Specials. Had a outstanding sandwich named the Smokestack OMG. Corned Beef, Ham n Turkey on Toasted thick Greek Bread with Cheese and sauce. A true gut stuffer, could barely finish it. She had the half Deep Fried Chicken spot on delicious. Marvelous Bean n Ham Soup made in house. This folks a Downriver Gem , place been a restaurant over 80 years with different names. Easy to find just a hundred yards off I-75 the Rockwood exit. Spotless clean everything and friendly staff, a must visit. IT'S ABSOLUTELY EPIC!
Flat Rock has a lot of competetion for awesome pizza, but Papa Brunos is one of the greatest places for pizza on planet EARTH. It's worth the drive from ANYWHERE. For the record, I've been eating the round pizzas at Papa Brunos now for 4+ YEARS because the rounds are seriously dang good too. I tried the deep dish for the first time last month, and I couldn't believe what I had been missing!
I used to get deep dish from the corporate franchise place next to the old Butcher Shop. There's nothing wrong with those guys; but Papa Brunos is just WAY, WAY BETTER. It's totally different- most notably the crust- and Papa Brunos crust is SO GOOD. I'll upload a photo of my next one because we already devoured the pizzas we just ordered.“

“My husband and I stopped in for an earlier dinner. I had the ribeye steak. A little hiccup with the kitchen (requested medium rare, got well done). But without me asking, the General Manager, Laura, took care of it. Dinner was really good. Our waitress was Jennifer. She's the best. Consistent, friendly, and she is a really good server. We will request her again. .“

Being local, you treasure a spot when it's like that especially when everything costs as it does. I usually order almond chicken, maybe some chicken lo mein. The meal, which can be shared amongst my family, cost me roughly $12. They do accommodate your preferences as well, whether you want lighter oil or maybe to hold a certain item. But everything is delicious and the folks running it are truly gems in our little community. It's a humble spot but it's worth it all.“

“Went here for the first time yesterday! There's another Chinese place that's closer to where I live, but it was closed and so I decided to give this place a try. Well worth the extra few minutes! I loved their Tofu General Tsou's and spring rolls. I also appreciate that you grab your own sauce packets, napkins, plastic forks etc, because I always end up with junk I don't need (from other places). Will return for sure!“

“I had Amaya’s cater my baby shower for around 40 people. They delivered the food and set everything up. It was super easy to get everything ordered and they were super nice. I couldn’t recommend them enough!“

“Cameron came to our table and sat down to go over the specials with us. He was extremely friendly, knowledgeable about the entire menu. When he mentioned the lemon rice soup I told him that was my favorite and he brought us a complimentary cup for each of us to try. As you can tell by the pictures it was absolutely wonderful. I do like mine a little more soupy but the flavor was off the charts. We ordered omelettes which were absolutely delicious and we also ordered the Club Sandwich. I did ask to have my hash browns extra extra well done, they were not and that would be my only complaint. Otherwise the whole experience was wonderful. I would give this restaurant a 9 out of 10 and we would most definitely come back to try other things on the menu. The entire staff appears to be very friendly and welcoming. This place I would definitely recommend.“

We ordered the small deep dish deluxe and it was delicious! 6 pieces, I had 2 pieces and my boyfriend had 3 it’s very filling. It was hot when they delivered it to our hotel room door in a few minutes less than the time they said. Love supporting local places, definitely will eat here again. “Want to give a review for Chloe S. I came in with my grandparents and niece along with my 2 children, 3yrs. old and 8 weeks old. She sat us outside under the awning and was a great experience. Showed the kids a lot of attention and made sure we were all taken care of coming out and checking on us consistently. BTW the food was great!“

“I love this place. The most absolute best eggs benny I have ever had. I saw a couple of reviews that complained about the price. Remember folks, you get what you pay for. If you dont like the price, go to Bob Evans or Big Boy. PUKE. Olympic is the best. I live in Monroe and drive 25 minutes to have this breakfast!“
