“Oh Happy day, this place closed months ago and was put up for sale. This great Greek family just reopened Monday, we had to visit. Yes same family, Ma & Pa with the daughter welcome all those long time customers with a smile. Thanks Sidney our superstar waitress, you a keeper. Check they Facebook page everyday for Specials. Had a outstanding sandwich named the Smokestack OMG. Corned Beef, Ham n Turkey on Toasted thick Greek Bread with Cheese and sauce. A true gut stuffer, could barely finish it. She had the half Deep Fried Chicken spot on delicious. Marvelous Bean n Ham Soup made in house. This folks a Downriver Gem , place been a restaurant over 80 years with different names. Easy to find just a hundred yards off I-75 the Rockwood exit. Spotless clean everything and friendly staff, a must visit. “I was a little skeptical about this place as it's a fairly small building that you can miss from the road. I gave it a shot and ordered a pepperoni pizza with a side of fries. The fries were baked in the oven instead of fried, so they were a bit burnt and not well seasoned. The pizza, however, was delicious. Everything had good flavor, the crust, sauce a d pepperoni. I know some places charge for ranch, so it didn't surprise me, but I don't like the extra charges for condiments. Overall, the pizza was delicious, but definitely avoid the fries.“

“The food was delicious! Had a bunch of people so we shared stuff along with a couple of personal items.
We had: 2 mashed potato pizzas with extra potatoes; a chicken fajita pizza; a Reuben dipster; an original dipster; antipasto salad; a grilled chicken salad; and we took home 2 subs for later (haven't had those yet but I'm sure they'll be awesome 😎) EVERYTHING was yummy!!!
The best part is that they are wheelchair accessible. There's a ramp to get into the building and the manager moved tables around so we could get the wheelchair in comfortably. ❤️❤️❤️ I'm not sure the bathroom would be easy to navigate with the chair but fortunately that wasn't a worry today.

“I have been ordering from here since shortly after I moved to the area in Sept., 2018. I WILL NOT order from anywhere else. No place else is nearly as good!! We LOVE the Sweet and Sour chicken, and their egg rolls are the biggest by far. Before today, it has been a long time since I've had food from here.

Its even better than I remember. The egg roll was delicious, with a light and crispy exterior. The chicken pieces were large, and not overly breaded like other places I've experienced where there's more breading than chicken. I ordered 3 of the Sweet and Sour chicken dinner combinations and a PT of wonton soup for one adult, a teen, and 2 younger kids. I fished out ONE of the dinner between all of us. The other 2 meals are untouched, aside from the egg rolls. Dinner for 2 more days!! Yes!

This evening I had an even more exceptional experience than usual. My 5 year old son has a tree nut allergy, which includes sesame, and my oldest is allergic to peanuts. When I ordered, I informed them of the allergies for food handling purpose. I was informed at pick up that the egg rolls are fried in sesame oil. I was offered extra rice to replace the egg rolls if I didn't want them. I declined, but appreciated being informed and gave my son something else instead. They also made sure to put the egg rolls in separately from the dinner combinations, which are usually put in the box with the meal.

Absolutely perfect. I have never had a bad experience with them, and I look forward to any chance I get to order from here. All 4 of my boys love their food too!

But without me asking, the General Manager, Laura, took care of it. Dinner was really good. Our waitress was Jennifer. She's the best. Consistent, friendly, and she is a really good server. “Veal Parm was soo good, sweeter sauce but not super sweet, I had extra cheese cuz why not. Veggie and the cream of broccoli soups were good and the fried zucchini was great. The veal in the dish wasn't a processed patty but actually veal...would recommend. Hubs had lasagna, thought it was ok, liked that they used ricotta and cottage cheese...he still likes mine better...for those that are anti-green pepper in tomato sauces, this had zero, which I liked...would definitely recommend the veal parm and the zucchini, can't speak for the hubs...and the lasagna but it sounded like he'd get it again, he was really wanting the Swedish meatballs and they were out“

“One of the few old fashioned sit down pizza places left in Monroe. I have eaten their pizza for over 20 years. So when I want pizza for lunch, I came here. Private parking lot helps greatly. You order at the counter and sit down for the food to be brought to you. Has both booths and tables. The normal TVs and a fireplace. The pizza is better than average for a place that price point is important.

The service was wonderful. The person who served me was Bea who is very friendly and efficient.

If I am in the area and want pizza, I will be back.“

“Restaurant was nice, service was good. To me, the pizza was just "ok." I really don't care for their sauce, which seems to make or break a pizza. They use a lot of cheese compared to some other restaurants. The crust was good. The marinara for the breadsticks was terrible but the sticks were very good. For the price, I expected it to be a lot better. It was OK, but I think I will stick with my usual pizza place.“

“Want to give a review for Chloe S. I came in with my grandparents and niece along with my 2 children, 3yrs. old and 8 weeks old. She sat us outside under the awning and was a great experience. Showed the kids a lot of attention and made sure we were all taken care of coming out and checking on us consistently. BTW the food was great!“

“We stopped here on the way home from Detroit today. Intentionally searched for an automotive themed restaurant to eat at. We sat at the bar and fell in love with the place! Our bartender, Delilah, and a young man who I assume to be a shift manager held conversations with us-telling us about the restaurant, the food options, local history, etc. Such a great experience! Typically customer service is hit or miss in the world anymore, but we did not experience that here. Top notch! Food was great and the mixed drinks were amazing!“

People who came after us were served. This second visit we had a sandwich and an omelette. There was no reason to wait 25 minutes for the food. We were really considering leaving. Then we were going to take some food home but since our waitress didn’t come by, we decided to just pay and leave. We’ve been going to Pipers for many many years, but after the service we received the last two visits, it will be awhile before we come back. This is sad because the food is really good. The restaurant only had 5 tables with people and there were 4 or 5 people hanging around the register.“
