Whenever we go to a different city, I always try to find at least 1 new plant based dish to try. I try to pick a smaller business and a place that has something unique. Detroit area has some outstanding choices for plant based food - more than a lot of cities. I would recommend More Life Foods as a top choice for a vegan, vegetarian, or an omni. I'm going to try to convince the boyfriend to swing through on the way back to Ohio so I can get another gyro.“

They have flights of special dips and signature margaritas, allowing for a fun and creative tasting experience starting with apps and drinks. For the mains, you can either build your own or taco/bowl/burrito or choose from one of their signature pairings from a large menu. They have several meat and non meat options to choose from, and our server Colby did an awesome job helping us navigate the menu to create a great Taco Tuesday experience. He took great care of us and made the fun but large menu even more approachable and enjoyable. Would definitely recommend trying it out, just keep in mind that if you are from CA/TX and like things SPICY, that the spice level on all items is geared towards a midwestern pallet aka on the milder side.“

They were very knowledgeable about Celiac and cleaned the machines before use. They keep all GF items separated as well. “I was invited here with a few friends to try the lunch buffet. They charge $13.99 for salad, pizza, and a drink. The pizza is a New Haven thin crust with a really flavorful sauce. They offer a variety of pizzas to try that keep coming out from 11am to 2pm. You can ask for a certain topping if you don’t see one you like and they’ll make it! The salad bar area is kept fresh and clean. They had many topping options to put over romaine lettuce. Everything is washed and cut just before serving. You can see it and taste it. I’ve been back a couple times since then and enjoyed it each visit. It’s one of the best pizzas I’ve had and pairs nicely with the salad bar. It’s definitely worth trying for the great price, service, and food.“

“Been here a few times since moving to Ferndale. I'm yet to have the same dish twice, and have NEVER been disappointed. The owner and staff are super friendly, my food is always ready quick, and the menu/weekly specials always have something interesting. I only wish they were open later for night owls like myself, but they're worth getting up earlier for. Go for the entrees, but don't forget to grab dessert there, too! The Coconut Cream Cake that was on special the day I'm writing this might be the best piece of cake I've ever had.“

“This is some of the best sushi in Metro Detroit, it’s our favorite sushi place and we go there almost weekly. The food is always delicious and the staff and service is phenomenal. I have never left this restaurant disappointed or hungry. If I could give this place more than five out of five stars, I would. 11/10 would recommend.
