“Janel is an incredible Mixologist and Individual as a whole. Her creative vision from her art work, or her art and fresh, awe-aspiring, intrinsic cocktails she creates. The bar program alone is an experience no review could do justice, you’ll have to give yourself that pleasure. Don’t just take my word for it. The food, impressive design, indescribable ambience ~ EVERYTHING here is just so intentionally thought of and executed with clear passion. “Went to FrameBar yesterday for the BirriaBar pop-up with chef Eddie Vargas. Food was excellent and a great value for the amount of food at the price point. I loved that the chef was making the rounds in the dining room to ensure every customer was satisfied. The birria platter and quesabirria were both great, as well as the salsas, queso, and aguacates. Lastly, the bar had good Mexican-inspired drink options, with the smoked Oaxacan old fashioned being my favorite for both taste and presentation. Great work all around.“

“Came to town to celebrate my cousin's upcoming wedding and I stopped here with her for some cocktails. The atmosphere was perfect, we used the outdoor seating area and enjoyed hanging out for a few hours. Drinks were super good, all the staff was friendly, and our server, Nick, was super fun and we enjoyed chatting with him! Thank you, Saint 1881 and staff. We had an amazing time :)“

“Service was great. Nice little restaurant. It was a bit too hot out to enjoy the patio. But would Definitely be worth a trip during the summer.
Ordered the bake cheese dip to start. Really enjoyed it. Goes really good with the toasted baguettes.
Full menu of options for drinks. No frozen drinks tho. They do not have a blender. They carry Faygo pop and that was a real treat.
Ordered the chicken Caesar salad. If I had known that, the salad came premixed I would’ve asked for the salad dressing on the side. It turned the Romain lettuce, soggy quickly. Couldn't take the left overs. Dressing was on the bitter side.
Also, tried the fire bird sandwich. Bun gave it good texture. Not a fan of the topping choices. Didn’t go well with the cheese and sauce.
I was excepting a little more from the menu. Smaller menu. Will be back.“

“We were instantly greeted and seated. Our server Robby was awesome. The entire staff was friendly. Chef Johnny is very talented and friendly. I love that he greets all guest and will even bring your food out himself. For starters we had the shrimp and crab cakes. They were crispy on the outside and melted in your mouth. The surprise with these was that there was whole shrimp inside. We loved it. The sauce on top was just the right amount. The salmon with saffron rice, coconut curry sauce and green apple slaw was the best salmon I've had in a while. The pairing was new for me but it worked. The salmon was juicy and perfectly cooked. When paired with everything on my plate it was like fireworks. Everything popped and was amazing. My husband had the beef strudel. Now he was thinking it was gonna be like a beef wellington but no. When he put his fork into the perfectly crispy flaky crust and into the most tender beef either of us have ever had, OMG. With the first bite all he could do was say "WOW"(sorry about how loud he was). The flavors of that plate were incredible. The blueberry cheesecake was the icing on the cake. It was perfect. Sweet but not too sweet and the smear of lemon sauce on the side elevated the flavors. The drinks. I had the rainforest and my husband had the Johnny Manhattan. When we saw how small the glasses were we were definitely worried. That feeling quickly faded with the first sip. The drinks may be small but they are strong and delicious. We had to pace ourselves with those. Overall, I give this place a 10/10 and will definitely be back again soon. Thank you to everyone there for a great time and for great service.“

“We are here for our anniversary and both the food and the service were excellent! We were helped by Chloe and Charlie and they were quick and so sweet. We had the garlic bruschetta, carbonara and salmon which was more than enough to share. The pasta was so fresh and the salmon may have been my favorite salmon I’ve ever had. Because it was our anniversary they gave us a complimentary dessert and sent over a prosecco toast on the house! Really excellent place I can’t recommend it more!“

I came here specifically because I wanted a real margarita made with lime and agave rather than sour mix. Best margarita I’ve had in Metro Detroit, and I’ve been around! Lol. 100/10 recommend. Also, my server Karina was so kind and attentive.“

“Love everything about Shift and I will be back!! My only issue was my reservation was taken for 5 guests at 8:15 pm and we waited 40 minutes for our table. We did have comfortable seats at the bar so that made up for the wait. Everyone was so accommodating and Lance personalized our evening with his travel tales. Cocktails, live music and small plates were outstanding!! Thank you for a lovely & memorable evening!“
