“My husband and I went to Shift yesterday for dinner and it was fantastic. Scott and Matt provided great service. Everything we ordered was fantastic. I got 2 drinks (the color red and the espresso martini) and had the shift fries and lamb lollipops. My husband also ordered the filet tips and lamb lollipops. It was all excellent. We also happened to come during happy hour and they had live music. We will definitely be back for more.“

The staff was amazing and worked to accommodate all of our needs. Taylor, especially was so amazing and helpful in coordinating our event. Public House made our day so memorable and I couldn't recommend it enough - either for a private event, or just for some drinks and apps. My husband and I love it!😊“

“Went to FrameBar yesterday for the BirriaBar pop-up with chef Eddie Vargas. Food was excellent and a great value for the amount of food at the price point. I loved that the chef was making the rounds in the dining room to ensure every customer was satisfied. The birria platter and quesabirria were both great, as well as the salsas, queso, and aguacates. Lastly, the bar had good Mexican-inspired drink options, with the smoked Oaxacan old fashioned being my favorite for both taste and presentation. Great work all around.“

“We held our private event in the enclosed patio at Firebird in Troy. The patio was heated and decorated to look like a lodge. All of our guests felt like they were in a homey environment. The food and the service was impeccable. Our guests were so pleased at the attention to detail and the promptness of the serving staff. The event manager, Jenna, made the entire planning process easy and stress free. She helped us set up our buffet menu and was there day of assisting in decorating and making sure everything was in order. I would highly recommend hosting a private event here and plan to do so myself for future events!“

“We were instantly greeted and seated. Our server Robby was awesome. The entire staff was friendly. Chef Johnny is very talented and friendly. I love that he greets all guest and will even bring your food out himself. For starters we had the shrimp and crab cakes. They were crispy on the outside and melted in your mouth. The surprise with these was that there was whole shrimp inside. We loved it. The sauce on top was just the right amount. The salmon with saffron rice, coconut curry sauce and green apple slaw was the best salmon I've had in a while. The pairing was new for me but it worked. The salmon was juicy and perfectly cooked. When paired with everything on my plate it was like fireworks. Everything popped and was amazing. My husband had the beef strudel. Now he was thinking it was gonna be like a beef wellington but no. When he put his fork into the perfectly crispy flaky crust and into the most tender beef either of us have ever had, OMG. With the first bite all he could do was say "WOW"(sorry about how loud he was). The flavors of that plate were incredible. The blueberry cheesecake was the icing on the cake. It was perfect. Sweet but not too sweet and the smear of lemon sauce on the side elevated the flavors. The drinks. I had the rainforest and my husband had the Johnny Manhattan. When we saw how small the glasses were we were definitely worried. That feeling quickly faded with the first sip. The drinks may be small but they are strong and delicious. We had to pace ourselves with those. Overall, I give this place a 10/10 and will definitely be back again soon. Thank you to everyone there for a great time and for great service.“

The atmosphere was perfect, we used the outdoor seating area and enjoyed hanging out for a few hours. I ordered a Maurice salad with the best dressing, served on the side. The variety in the large menu offers salmon, chicken, tacos and much more....elegantly served. “My server informed me at the very end of my meal that the restaurant has lied to customers for over a year about having gluten free carrot cake and they have just been feeding people with intolerances gluten containing cake. So disrespectful. I got glutened after I spent $200 on my meal and was assured I had chosen gluten free dishes and precautions were being taken. Like look, I get it. Food allergies are a pain in the *ss but if you can't accommodate people with them don't lie to your customers. There are lots of other places in the metro area who do take allergies and medical conditions seriously. Way to ruin my birthday. Im going to be sick for a whole week because I have Celiac Disease.
