They cheerfully made fresh batches of delicious hummus (two varieties) which came with chips and pita bread. I served that, along with two kinds of their fabulous soup, to my dinner guests. Everyone complimented the delicious food Kal and Ann prepared. If you haven’t tried KAL’s Lunch Bowl, located in the Royal Oak Farmers Market yet, I recommend it. “Not only was an item missing, but the app auto filled in a $5 tip I didn't authorize on a pickup order, when I double checked what I had ordered. I specifically put $0 for a pickup, but when I double checked my order, it must've put it back to $5 before I hit pay. I didn't realize it was there until I saw my bank account charge, and customer service is an email note with zero actual human interaction. Also, the staff members were having a full on friend conversation with a customer, and made my wife stand there for several minutes, waiting to pick up the food.“

“We are in town and chose Papa Romano’s for dinner. We had pizza delivered to our hotel and it was amazing. They said 45 minutes and we had it in less than 30. Pizza, breadsticks and salad all very good and their ranch is one of the best I’ve ever had!“

“Been coming here for years. Food is great. Always get the soup, salad, and breadsticks. Can’t go wrong with that. I have ONE complaint though. It is a waiter whose name is BUCK (I think). He’s got a southern accent (or sounds like it). This man has been there for years. He is rude & condescending. He said to me and my family when I asked him if my son could have a glass instead of a kid’s glass, Buck said “Last time I checked, it was all over the table.” First off, I had no idea what he was talking about. Wrong customer he’s talking about, not us. Second, you don’t talk to customers that way regardless. And then we came back a few months later, and we were stuck with Buck again. We asked him about something that used to be on the menu and if they still served it and he said “Never heard of it.” We have witnesses him giving the same treatment to other customers as well. How this man has stayed employed this long I’ll never understand.“

“I accidentally stumbled on Ray's and tried the #3 Ray's special. I was very pleased with the portions and the price. The fish was well cooked and seasoned, the chicken was great with nice sized tasty shrimp. Everything was clean and the cashier was nice. I've been searching for a good place like this to eat at and I am glad that I found Ray's and I will be back.“
