“Our Easter meal started out great. Our server started out getting everything we ordered to the table promptly, and checking back to see if anything else was needed. She later came back to ask about containers, and dessert. She returned with multi containers, & dessert at the same time. This jammed up the whole table, as we struggled to package everything, while our ice cream sat melting. We felt like we were being rushed out the door. We have never experienced this before. “The food was excellent, the ambiance was super casual and friendly like your neighborhood haunt, in the service was above and beyond. The waitress even thought my partner put a spoiled creamer in his coffee one that was supposed to be refrigerated but somehow made it to the table and she brought him a new coffee without him asking. The bacon tastes like something you get from the butcher count or not from the grocery store. The biscuits are homemade the sausage gravy has actual pieces of sausage in it and the cinnamon toast bread was delicious. I can see why this is a Saginaw staple. Next time I'm in the area, I plan to try lunch.“

“A great bar with food that is way better than your average bar menu. I like how their small sliders allow you to try several different flavors. Service was friendly. And in warm weather they have outdoor seating in front and in back. Fantastic way to start your night in old town Saginaw.“

“So we calorie splurged on a Big Ole Applebee's burger and switched up to waffle fries (for a nominal fee), and got 5 and a half waffle fries on the plate... not at all what we expected for an upcharge side. Our server agreed that was 'kinda skimpy' and said she would 'go yell at him for us'... We never saw a manager to flag down, which is unusual at Applebees, and will probably go to a different Applebees next time. We do like menu and the food, but there's an Applebees at every exit!“

What’s even better, for all my bourbon lovers out there, they have a boozy Rootbeer Float made with Buffalo Trace Cream which is absolutely a must try if you’re there. I would however recommend making a reservation if you’re planning a visit as the wait times can get lengthy otherwise.“
