“I understand shortages, staff problems and shortened hours because of the pandemic. My problem with all Panda Expresses is that you rarely have what's on the menu. Why is it every other time I go there you are out of several things? I only like a few things when I come to patronize your restaurant. It's very frustrating to come to a food joint for food and they say we don't have it. This has been at any time of the day. I order something, the drive thru person says "we're out." I ask "are you in the process of making more because I'm willing to wait" and they say, "nope out for the day" and it's like 1 pm....WTF? So why have a menu? I know it's not a supply issue because they have it the next day. Is it just employees not wanting to make more or what? "Come on in to Panda Express, we may or may not have any food you want." Not a good business model. Great food when they have what you want, otherwise a crap shoot. I think I may add you to places I don't go anymore.
Update: Whoever has taken over has righted the ship. Been there a couple times recently and both times the food was excellent and ready. Love "good" Panda Express so it makes me happy to change my review. Nice job to everyone involved there in changing the culture and quality. Keep up the great work!“

“Knew this place opened but I wanted to let them get some time in before I tried them out. Did not disappoint. Don’t be intimidated to try Sichuan style Chinese food. The mala spice and Sichuan peppers are numbingly spicy and good. Description in the pictures.“

“There is a reason this place has won awards. Everything was so good! I had the chicken fried rice, and it was the BEST I've ever had! The chicken was a little fried but not overly-so. There was more veggies in it than I'm used to--and I really liked that! The crab rangoons and egg rolls were perfect, the egg drop soup delish and veggie loaded as well. Excellent! Our waitress Mandy was so sweet, she stayed on top of our beverages and boxed everything up for us to take home. Thank you for everything!“

“This was my first experience and was circumspect based upon the negative reviews. I was pleasantly surprised. The food was very, very good. I felt it was also good value for the money. Our order included Moo shoo pork, Mongolian beef, pepper steak, sweet and sour chicken, steamed dumplings and egg rolls. The egg rolls were better than any I’ve had from Byron Center and Dorr Chinese restaurants. I took away one star because the Mongolian beef and pepper steak were so similar, we couldn’t tell the difference. We also didn’t receive soy sauce. This restaurant ranks as my new local favorite for Chinese food.“

“Yes to this place.
Awesome, small, tucked away gem that your friends will want to know about.
Great food. Fresh veggies. Great prices. The filled buns are a freaking awesome meal by themselves but not on the menu.
English maybe worse than mine, but be patient and understanding. It's well worth the effort.
Vegetarian options: They use great fresh veggies!“

“The ambience is spot on. Service was next level, our server knew what we needed before we did and her recommendations were delicious. We didn't order a bad dish, it was all amazing. We had the appetizer platter for two, almond chicken, fried rice & lemon chicken. 10/10 recommend“

“I have been here multiple times and the service has always been great, the people who work there are always incredibly kind and always have a smile on their face which creates a very welcoming atmosphere. The food is a bit on the pricier side but it is very worth it considering I would say this is some of the best chineese food I've ever had. High quality food, and good workers, a wonderful establishment.
Parking: There's not a ton of parking spots but the area doest seem to be very busy most of the time so it's easy to park
Kid-friendliness: With a pretty wide selection of food there's a good chance you could find at least 1 thing your kid likes and friendly workers makes a non intimidating environment
Wheelchair accessibility: The sidewalk leading to the store is handicap accessible“

“Grand Lakes Chinese, thank you so much. I love the beef lo mein. Im a teacher and whenever I have a bad day, I get Chinese food. I used to go to other places in GR and they were fine, but Grand Lakes Chinese takes the cake. I know the moment I take a bite of the beef lo mein my day will get 100% better. I love Grand Lakes and I am so glad I found this place. Grand lakes, thank you so much! You make every bad day better!!!“

“Absolutely superb pho, the best I've had in a long while!
This little restaurant is clean, accessible and parking is right out front. The place doesn't look like much from the outside or the inside, but don't be fooled, the food is outstanding.
My personal favorite is chicken pho with beef broth, (tastier than with just chicken broth IMHO) the add-ins are very fresh, service is fast and friendly.
Give this eatery a try, it might just become one of your faves, too!“

“We absolutely loved the orange chicken and vegetable egg rolls. Great flavor on the chicken, we ordered spicy hot and got extra spice on the side. I highly recommend checking this place out. We have dined at tons of Chinese around the country and found this to be top-notch!“
