Not all mayo! Our dinner also came with soup, (3 to choose from) chicken noodle, lemon rice, and clam chowder. We chose clam chowder, very flavorful & packed with clams. This spot is right down the street from my grandkids house. I have been there many times with them but I did not put two & two together when we ordered our carry out. People who came after us were served. This second visit we had a sandwich and an omelette. There was no reason to wait 25 minutes for the food. We were really considering leaving. Then we were going to take some food home but since our waitress didn’t come by, we decided to just pay and leave. We’ve been going to Pipers for many many years, but after the service we received the last two visits, it will be awhile before we come back. This is sad because the food is really good. The restaurant only had 5 tables with people and there were 4 or 5 people hanging around the register.“

“We stopped here on the way home from Detroit today. Intentionally searched for an automotive themed restaurant to eat at. We sat at the bar and fell in love with the place! Our bartender, Delilah, and a young man who I assume to be a shift manager held conversations with us-telling us about the restaurant, the food options, local history, etc. Such a great experience! Typically customer service is hit or miss in the world anymore, but we did not experience that here. Top notch! Food was great and the mixed drinks were amazing!“

The meat thickness was good, the sauerkraut has good placement being in the middle and I love it when the sauce is on the side so you can add as little or as much as you want.
