“I’ve been in twice now and this is just a really great brewer here in W. Michigan. I’ve had a few of the beers and they are all really good. The Hef is fantastic. Try the schnitzel as it’s pretty good. It’s an American version, but a somid recipe with good quality ingredients. The atmosphere is great, they have beer hall seating in the middle but also high or low top tables if you prefer. Bar seating too.
Find a seat, look the menu over, then go up and order at the bar. Food is fast and hot and, as I said, it’s good.

“Classic JETS best and most expensive pizza but totally worth it! absolutely delicious! calling all VETS: you get a discount.. the way you do it is order your pizza with the app and choose pay at pickup. then when you arrive tell them to add the veterans discount and you will get a lower price!“

“Usually have great service. But last time ordered on line 20 minutes late. Couldn’t find pizza. When they found the pizza it wasn't even close to what I ordered. Made me a new one. Still not correct but I took it anyhow. They did give me free breadsticks. I guess everyone has a bad night occasionally.“

“We took our family the other night. Great location, delicious food, and fair prices. But what really stood out to me was the staff. Great customer service!! Polite, eye contact, checking in with all guests to see how the experience was or if anyone needed refills. The cook was hustling and doing an amazing job. These young people were outstanding! This will be a go to for us.“

“Ordered a deluxe pizza to go, 30 minute drive home, then mowed the grass for 90 minutes then finally had a slice of pizza at room temperature.. I feel it is the the best pizza I’ve ever had! I can’t imagine how incredible it would’ve been directly out of the wood-fired pizza oven. It has been at least 8 years since I’ve been to Marinades, I think I’ll be there again in the next 8 days!!!!!!! The service was OUTSTANDING!!!! I repeat THE BEST PIZZA I HAVE EVER HAD!!!!! Excited to try it right out of the wood-fired pizza oven the next time!!!“

“The pizza is always great here. I love a crispy brick oven pizza. So, this time I decided to try something different. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs for dining in, and the grilled chicken sliders and a regular kids’ cheese pizza to go. The spaghetti was perhaps just a difference of preference for taste. To me the sauce was too sweet and thin/watery. There also was no shaved Parmesan or basil, which the menu says are part of the dish. So, pasta portion was just really lacking in any flavor. However, the meatballs have amazing flavor! I’d eat them every day. The grilled chicken sliders were extremely disappointing. They each had maybe a bite and a half of chicken in a small strip. As you can see from the picture, one really had less than a bite. The sauce that was supposed to be on the sandwiches was missing. Just disappointing overall. The service was great, the restaurant is clean and comfortable, drinks were nice, and the pizza did not disappoint as per usual. I’ll stick to the pizza, cheese bread and bruschetta moving forward…they’re always great!“

“Our waitress (V) was outstanding and a pleasure to be around and the reason we would come back again. However, the food for everyone at the table just had no flavor. As the menu reads, it sounds outstanding it just didn't come out flavorful. Hopefully chef just had an off night, will try again for sure.“

“I tried their pizza challenge. It was fun. The gluten-free pizza was good, too.
- Pizza 28” Challenge - $35: Super thin, but soft and fairly good.
The crust was dry, tough, chewy and was fairly plain. The pizza was easy, but the crust was very hard. I saved the crust for last (a tactic I learned from another competitor), but in this case, I think you need to eat the crust along the way so you don’t get tired of chewing it all at the end. Break it up.
I failed by one slice and almost all the crust I saved for the end. It sounds like the challenge is undefeated currently. Someone has to beat it. It is well within the possibility compared to other challenges out there. Though it is 28” and that sounds huge (it is huge), it is actually thin enough that it is still very much possible for those who train for it.
I’d have to guess it is 4 pounds. I weighed it at 3.5 pounds, but we couldn’t get it to balance well enough to take our hands off of it to get an accurate measurement. 28” is huge!!!
- Pizza 9” - $: Fits on a plate. My daughter ate it and reported it was good. The crust was plain.
- Cauliflower Pizza 12” - $: Except for the amount of cheese, it would have been my daughter’s new favorite gluten-free pizza.
- Service: Super helpful and cheerful. She was new, but it didn’t show at all. She was very proficient and amazing!
- Atmosphere: Clean. A bit on the darker side, but not bad. There is a higher ceiling and voices probably carry very easily. We didn’t experience that too much since we stopped by during a slow time.
- Conclusion: I’d certainly recommend this place for many reasons including the cheerful staff.

“Smaug's Revenge is the best hot sauce I have had in a long time. You must try this sauce! It's a little hot at first, but don't worry, it doesn't get hotter. The flavor stays with you though. I would give 7 stars if possible!“

“If you’re over in the Grand Rapids/Rockford area, definitely go check out the Corner Bar, Rockford Michigan. I was there to take in their coney dog challenge, but my wife and daughter’s food was amazing too. My daughter who NEVER finishes her plates completely devoured her pulled pork pasta. Super fun atmosphere and the staff was great. Also a HUGE selection of root beer and local beers on tap. We are from the greater Lansing area, but plan on definitely making the trip west again to try other amazing looking things on their menu.“

“get a manager that owns up to poor service. waited too long to place our order. waited way too long -over an hour- for 3 meals which we ended up taking as carry out had to ask for a manager and she never came to our table. all while watching those sat after us getting served. i get things happen....i don't get blatant lack of professionalism in management. i always look to support local. thankfully i have other options in Rockford.“
