“My father and I stopped in for lunch at the PF Chang’s inside Somerset Mall, James was our server and took exceptional care of us! The food was delicious but the service is what really put this over the top! James was like a magician, here when we needed him and a ghost when we had mouthfuls of food (no one likes being bothered when they’re eating)… he made excellent recommendations and even brought over a sauce concoction, similar to the trio for our egg rolls that had spicy mustard that was fabulous! Overall you know what to expect from Chang’s and the kitchen delivered but James’s service was perfect and really made our meal an excellent experience! I’ll come here before I fight the crowds at Partridge Creek ever again! Cheers to the whole staff with an extra nod to our waiter James!“

“I'm working out of town in Troy, MI and stopped to get dinner on the way back to the hotel and I'm glad I did. I ordered the almond chicken dinner combo, it came with fried rice and an egg roll, I also ordered some crab rangoon. The food was hot, fresh and delicious! And there was a lot of it! The lady that took the order was very nice and friendly as well. I'll definitely be stopping here again the next time I'm in town.“

“Authentic Chinese food, authentic Sichuan cuisine. Is it the best out there, probably not, but better than a lot of other popular Chinese restaurant in metro Detroit. The have American Chinese food items too so everyone can enjoy what they like. Food is great, everything we order is on point, except for the dried fish. I think if the stove is hotter and the pan has a higher temperature, the fish and the spices (garlic, chillis) will be less soggy.“

“Came here twice this week I've been meaning to try this place for some time! I had a failed meal prep and didn't have much time so this place definitely fit the bill. They were a little over the time that they quoted for pick up which was 20 minutes but that's OK because I'd rather my food be hot and still being cooked and sitting there getting cold for time passing. The staff is very friendly. I don't know why people have been saying they aren't. The place is a little bit older but what can you expect? It's a great Chinese place. You're there for the food not the decor and also it's pretty much a carryout place considering there is only a couple tables to begin with Not really much of a dining room. I had ordered beef egg, foo young lunch portion for both days and both portions were the same and cooked with fresh ingredients. The portions are massive even for lunch. I do recommend coming in and ordering instead of using all the apps you can save some money there. Looking forward to making my regular Chinese spot when I am getting carry out at work. Looking forward to exploring the rest of the menu.“

Ordered General Tso chicken and for $11 I got like 2 lbs. in a big white Styrofoam box (packed) They do NOT skimp on the portions and the Pork fried rice was amazing and the Egg drop soup was also good. I have their menu on my refrigerator and plan on ordering almost everything on the menu before the year is out.“

“I have been looking for an actual "good" Chinese take out. As most Chinese in the Royal oak, Ferndale, Oak park area are bellow average bland Chinese. I got word that Madison heights has some great Chinese spots so I gave Chao Zhou a chance and I was immediately hooked. You can taste the quality in this food.

Chao Zhou sticks out from the rest and is something I can definitely recommend people try. Probably the best General Tao's chicken I've had in a long time. The Singapore noodles was another stand out option that I also loved.

I recently visited this restaurant, and it truly exceeded my expectations. The food is authentic, fresh, and healthy, which is so hard to find these days. Every dish reminded me of the flavors and warmth of home back in China. You can tell the ingredients are high quality, and the dishes are made with care and attention to detail. From the rich flavors to the comforting atmosphere, this place is an absolute gem. I can’t recommend it enough for anyone craving real, wholesome Chinese food. I’ll definitely be coming back!

“I love the Gung Bo Shrimp. My brother first discovered this place back in the 1990s. My girlfriend likes the food too and often orders beef fried rice, which she likes. Very friendly people there, but I think I've only eaten there in person twice, so I gave a three stars for atmosphere. I am just neutral on the atmosphere because I don't have much experience.“

The soup was on the lower end of hot and sour soups I've had. If I return to this place, I wouldn't order it again. The General Tso's, however, was excellent. It wasn't groundbreaking, or especially unique, but it was delicious. The quantity bolstered the enjoyment- one could easily get two meals out of it as I did. I rarely order fried rice, but this place served excellent fried rice.

The service was excellent. It was quick, efficient, and pleasant. The lady who took my order was very nice, and I had my food within 15 minutes.

The girl who took my order was friendly and helpful.
The place was very clean.
The order came out quick , it was hot and packaged nicely.
I got the Cashew Chicken lunch combo and it was really good , plenty of chicken, vegetables and cashews.
Came with a large serving of fried rice and a very tasty egg roll with sweet and sour sauce on the side .
The serving size of this meal was big , plenty for lunch with some left over and it only cost $ 8.85 which is amazing for the quality and quantity.

“Everyone liked what they got. I prefer the Pad Thai to have crushed peanuts and a bit more saucy but still pretty good. Wife was happy the pad thai wasn't too sweet. Egg and spring rolls were typical. Sesame chicken was solid. Veg beef was good. Good size portions ensure you can get another meal out of it.“

We got carry out on a Saturday night. General Taos chicken was a huge portion with large meaty chicken. The crab Rangoons were large and the best we’ve found. The dumplings were large as well and juicy. We were very pleased with our meal and we have lots of leftovers to enjoy. Food was made quickly and arrived hot. We hopefully finally found our new go to Chinese spot.“

It took me 15 minutes to get there from my house and 15 minutes back, and the food was still Burning hot when I called the woman on the phone. Parking: Parking spaces were very tiny I have an suv I felt like I was going to hit somes car pulling in the space and opening door also when you back up if you park directly at the front door, I feel like it’s very close to car that are parked directly and back of you“
