Chicken parm was HUGE (took half to go) and was seasoned perfectly. Hubby had the gnocchi with sausage and said it was FABULOUS! We both added a salad to our meals, house salad for me and Caesar for him. Had the Arancini for an appetizer, and it was soooo good! “Spring break road trip from Chicago. Naturally had to swing through and check off Detroit style pizza from my pizza bucket list and what better place to do that then Buddy's (the original). Not disappointed in the least. From the fast friendly service to the atmosphere having the feeling we were sitting in a place of pizza royalty. To the star of the show the PIZZA. They certainly add to the atmosphere and experience.The food was made fresh and delicious. The Mediterranean pizza was made with fresh materials and with just enough topping to make it very filling the other dishes also looked very fresh being the chicken sandwich and salad along with a pepperoni and mushroom pizza.This would be a stop for me again. “A staple in the Shelby Township area, I've been here several times for dinners and private banquets as well. Cant think of a bad meal or experience. On Tuesdays, wine is half off (glass or bottle) which is a great deal. On Wednesdays, cannoli is free with purchase of a dinner. They have amazing desserts! I had the veal parmigiana which was prepared with the bone. The best I have had in the state of Michigan. I usually get the meatballs with the eggplan parmesan. Just delicious! This place makes the best meatballs. Texture is prefect. Flavor is spot on. It comes in a marinara sauce and a generous dollop of creamy riccota. The eggplant parmesan is properly cooked and also delicious. It comes with a side of spagetti. Only critique is the side of pasta lacks sauce. It is a bit pricey, but 2 will eat this for 2 days, so the value is there. This is about as good if not better then most other quality dine in Italian restaurants. And the nicest thing is the staff is excedingly friendly and an absolute pleasure to interact with.“

“I love Zino’s! This is the perfect pizza when you need a delivery style pizza. Cheese is unreal. Zino’s cheese bread with the feta, phenomenal! Sauce is robust. Flavorful, with a great blend of spices. Crust is soft, and slightly sweet. If it’s game day, or you want a family night meal this is one of my go-to pizza spots. Delivery is fast and food arrives hot. I can’t recommend this place enough. I struggled for a long time trying to find just a solid pizza spot and Zino’s ticks off a lot of boxes. “We had a fabulous evening at Pernoi! Allison our waiter was very attentive and spot on. Our food was fabulous! We started with a burrata salad and also the Greek salad. Both were outstanding! 2 of us had the eggplant special and added a meatball and the others had the bolognese and the veal scallopini. “Nice spot to grab a quick bite if you're in the Royal Oak, MI area. We came after seeing a show at the Royal Oak Theater and it was a good choice. They offer numerous different wood fired pizzas made fresh in front of you in their open kitchen. If pizza isn't your thing there are also many different pasta dishes and small plates available. The atmosphere is casual, and gives you a small Italian pizza shop feel. They also have a small parking lot behind the building to save you from paying to park.“
