The only bad thing is they have not fixed the men's bathroom in over a year, maybe longer. We women do not enjoy sharing a bathroom with men who pea on the floor and also on the toilet seat. We want our bathroom back!“

They cheerfully made fresh batches of delicious hummus (two varieties) which came with chips and pita bread. I served that, along with two kinds of their fabulous soup, to my dinner guests. Everyone complimented the delicious food Kal and Ann prepared. If you haven’t tried KAL’s Lunch Bowl, located in the Royal Oak Farmers Market yet, I recommend it. The small antipasto salad was HUGE, fresh, and loaded with all the good stuff. They make their own dressing(which is delicious), and give you a generous portion of their homemade garlic bread with it. The cheesy bread was perfect, too. Whenever we go to a different city, I always try to find at least 1 new plant based dish to try. I try to pick a smaller business and a place that has something unique. Detroit area has some outstanding choices for plant based food - more than a lot of cities. I would recommend More Life Foods as a top choice for a vegan, vegetarian, or an omni. “First of all, we have gone to the original Green lantern on 12 and John R for the last over 50 years. Their pizza is the best so when the one opened up on 13 and Ryan, I was thrilled and I think their pizza is very good. Also, I have never gotten a bad pizza only one time was the Italian sub, a little dark and hard but I never complained we order from 13 and mound often like probably once a week and this time I ordered with one of their coupons and Was told I could not use it twicecould not use. I explained to them I just did it last week with the same type of order both totaling around $70 and I always leave a tip for them except this time often we have our pizzas delivered but the last two times we picked up. It struck me funny That they were OK last week and the girl actually didn’t know if she could but she asked the managing person that night and they said sure now mind you they don’t ask for the coupon so I could have used it the very next day again so I don’t get their logic For two dollars they are giving up anywhere from $40-$70 orders from me in granite. it’s not so much the two dollars at all. It was just the principle of it to give up those orders every week for two dollars putting a review on. So I will return to the 12 mile and John our store from here on, but I still love their pizza. “I stopped by the Olive Garden in Rochester Hills recently, and honestly, it felt like stepping back in time. The place looks old … not in a charming way, but more like it hasn’t been updated in years. There’s definitely a sentimental side to it, especially for someone who used to love Olive Garden, but that feeling can only carry so far.

The chain’s overall quality seems to be slipping. From the service to the food, everything felt just… average. It wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t great either. You can still count on the breadsticks and salad to do their job, but beyond that, the dishes don’t have the flavor or consistency they used to.

It’s a 3-star experience for me , mostly for the memories, not the meal.“

“I frequent this Panera Bread restaurant often when I visit my mom. I have had a couple snafu's on different occasions (as one does with any restaurant, such as a missing drink or chicken not being put on the side) & Corinna, the manager, has always helped me out with them with kindness, understanding, & patience. The snafu's haven't been catastrophic by any means but small minor mistakes. And she always goes out of her way to make things right. Reviews are not always for what that company got wrong but are also for giving the praise to someone who deserves it & I feel Corinna deserves it. I hope Panera Bread appreciates her & rewards her accordingly for excellent customer service!!“
