“Good wasn't as good as it usually is. Not sure what changed. They need a couple dedicated parking places for takeout. One party left after being ignored by hostess, she seemed overwhelmed. I waited 10 mins before being acknowledged and my food was well over 20 mins late from promised time. Definitely not typical but very frustrated.“

“Antiquing, we found ourselves in Marine City. We decided to eat at the Riviera. Our perch was exceptional. It was lightly seasoned and perfectly prepared allowing the true nature of the delicate fish to be appreciated. The Cole slaw was one of the best, if not the best. The clam chowder was great. The waitstaff was efficient and courteous. Even on a very rainy day the atmosphere offers the diner a great view. We noticed, when leaving, some if the other dinner options being enjoyed by others. The Italian meals looked amazing. My regret is we live in the Irish Hills and Saline. I wish we could dine regularly at the Riviera. Nothing to compare in our areas.“

“Saturday, June 28th we were on our way by boat to Port o call for lunch. On our way we lost an engine. We idled to AHC on one engine with no power steering. The gents working harbor master were very helpful with getting us docked in a transient slip. I paid for one night while I decided what to do with my mechanical issue and after a few hours decided to have tow boat tow my boat back to my home in Harrison twp. I let the harbor masters know I would not be staying the night- i did not ask for any credit but they went out of their way to off up a partial refund. I thought that was the cherry on top of their already excellent customer service. Thanks again and cant wait to come back!“

“This place is a hidden gem, I absolutely love the 1950s retro feel. I am sad to see they got rid of their walk up window concept recently, as I feel it takes away from the nostalgia. The place is nice and clean, and the food is good old classic burgers and fries. The prices are reasonable.
Hamburger meat could use a touch more seasoning, instead of plain ground beef. It was a touch on the dry side. Overall I still absolutely loved my visit and I thought it was soo good! This is a wonderful step back in time. Awesome service, all staff were super friendly and helpful. I got the bacon burger and overall I was happy with it!

“First time going here!! Everything about this restaurant was top notch! From Katlyn our server to. Oyster Rockefeller, calamari, soups, Fresh salads (not chemical bag ones) Steaks & seafood was prepared at right temperature, sautéed perch, walleye & Orange roughy perfect! It’s worth the 40 minute drive to us????“

“Had a surprise 30th party for my fiancé. Had about 40 people show up and the staff and owner were nothing but amazing! They were super helpful and always asking if I needed anything!! The food was great and service was even better! Can’t recommend this place enough! Thank you for making our night so enjoyable!“

“Extremely helpful to recently deployed soldiers! Very friendly and assisted us in our time of need! We broke down on a Sunday late in the season and they sold us a reasonably priced part, loaned us the tools we needed, and gave us the dock space and lots of helpful advice. Thank you for the outstanding service!!“
