“The food here is great. This was our 1st time here. We were here all the way from Wisconsin for an event and i asked who got the best soul food in town and was told to stop by Cornbread. Amazing food, and service, and the place was clean. The Staff went above the call of duty. Ms. Donya if you see this, you are a JEWEL! This lady was right on time with everything. We visited the restaurant on Friday upon arrival to Michigan and was the first customers on Sunday 11:30AM as we were leaving from Michigan to return home. Go here, you will not be disappointed. The PRICE IS RIGHT.....and the Staff is BRIGHT!“

“I absolutely love this restaurant and winery. During my most recent visit I sat at the bar. Sherrel and Eric were my bartenders. Both of them provided wonderful service. They offered recommendations on wine and food pairings. The service provided was impressive due to the busyness of the bar area. I ordered the grilled chicken salad and my friend ordered the braised short ribs. The food was delicious. I also love the sleek and swanky decor throughout the restaurant which brings a warm and inviting presence. The wine is wonderful. I'm also wine club member which is worth every penny if you love wine. Ask for Sherrel and Eric for details on the various memberships they offer. I will be returning soon.“

“Great waitress, and bar keep, I got the lamb curry and the wife got some chicken Hakka noodles. Both dishes were very good, the atmosphere seemed really fancy and we just stopped in on lunch from work so I felt under dressed, the food was amazing great flavor profiles and aroma from the spices thanks again“

“Where Browndog really stands out is their ice cream. I think it’s the more popular half of their business. I’ve gone multiple times throughout the last decade or so and always liked some of the interesting flavors they’ve had. When they first opened they had a spicy chocolate flavor but I didn’t see it this most recent time.

This was my first time eating a meal at Browndog. I wouldn’t say it’s anything particularly special. The prices, flavor, and service are all pretty average.“

“Yes and No. Dinner here while at the hotel. My husband’s Alfredo was great. My braised short rib risotto was good, but the risotto part was way too salty and the chunks of mushrooms were extremely tough. We also had a cheese board that contained two (was supposed to be three) boring cheeses in tiny chunks, so hardly a cheeseboard two people could share. Also had super spicy chutney (yikes), a spicy mustard and some sliced baguette and hard crackers. Not much to it that was quality or would help a hungry visitor.“
