“The old locker room is where I met my husband of 35 years now, but the new locker has a great vibe as well. Food is Awesome, staff are friendly and helpful and the music brings a vibe that makes you happy and want to party. Let’s just say I love the Locker room. Ask for Lacey she’s the best waitress.“

“This is a typical sports bar, with lots of TVs....great for watching a Tigers game! Teh beer selection was decent, and the staff good....efficient and friendly. The menu is "typical" bar fare; we had some pizza, which was OK for bar food pizza. Not a bad, un pretentious place to grab a drink and watch a game.“

“Stopped by to celebrate our 45th anniversary. Our first time here, burger was perfect for me. My husband had the Cajun chicken sandwich. He said it was very tasty. Food was hot when served. Waitress was very pleasant and quick. tonight was karaoke too. We will be back.“

“I absolutely love this place. I always make it there on a Friday night, for obvious reasons, LOL! The bartenders are a joy to be around, and really bring the atmosphere together. The beers are cheap, and the food is decent for bar food (I normally get the buffalo wrap or the steak bites). Mostly an older crowd, but everyone is there to have a good time and that’s what I always have! Can’t go wrong with a bucket of beer.“

They also have DRAFT old fashions!!!! Crazy. But also very good. This place is perfect for friends, night out with coworkers, and has a unique but perfect layout for game days. “Went in tonight with our kids for dinner and we were very impressed. Fantastic tuna melt to enjoy on a Friday and the kids devoured their wings, cheese sticks and salads. Games for the kids to enjoy and keep busy as well. Our sever Julie was exceptional! She made us feel welcomed and very attentive to the kids needs. We will be back and definitely will be requesting Julie’s area.“

“What a beautiful view while eating dinner!! Really great delicious food. Smart, kind, and caring servers. We went to just enjoy dinner and look out over the lake. Usually is billed as watching women in bikinis-type bars. It's just normal beachwear. The whole half of the bar-facing lake was pretty well empty. We loved the food and drinks. Right now there are so many ducks and geese to watch in the lake it's fun.“

“Anybody reading this, my mamaw was the barmaid there beginning in the 60s. Annie Ruth Ladd. They also lived above the bar for some time. My mother told me that she vividly remembers looking out the window and seeing the National guard going down Jefferson into Detroit. At that time, she was 9 years old. My mother grew up to work in the bar. Her name is Roseann or Rosie. I spent lots of my youth there, playing quarter machines. Rosie Also worked Square Deal. Y'all probably knew my papaw too his name was Jim Ray Boatwright and he was known in River Rouge as being one of the Town drunks lol God rest his soulCan't wait to stop in and reminisce!Also, if anybody knew my family or can share stories, please let me know. “Came in with my amazing wife to eat lunch and wait for school to get out. The cook came out with what he called a new off menu dish called chicken and dumplings paprikash dish. It was amazing. The flavor was amazing. It looked amazing. The cook was Jeff and the Bar tender was Michelle. Both very professional and nice. This place never lets us down.“

“My daughter had her 8th birthday party here. I was seriously impressed. It is very clean and well kept! The staff was very attentive. I had to tack on, last minute, extra pizzas and pop because I had more show up than expected. The staff made it happen quickly, didn't miss a beat! They were very nice. Happy to help us. The kids and adults had a blast! I would highly recommend. I even got compliments from other parents. Thank you Roosevelt lanes and the wonderful women and young man that took excellent care of us! “Just came to say I enjoy the time I spend at the Wintergarden. The Wednesday wings are great and I get them almost EVERY Wednesday, the Sunday half off pizza is also a great deal and quite tasty. The service is usually good, but it depends on who is working. I am usually there during happy hour so my review is based on that. I have three bartenders I particulary like to see, Brei, who unfortunately for me, has branched out to better herself and is not there so often anymore, Alison, who knows my wing order by heart, and Sam who kicks butt and takes great care of me.“
