“The old locker room is where I met my husband of 35 years now, but the new locker has a great vibe as well. Food is Awesome, staff are friendly and helpful and the music brings a vibe that makes you happy and want to party. Let’s just say I love the Locker room. Ask for Lacey she’s the best waitress.“

“Easter Sunday, landed here after trying Longhorn. We were all glad it worked out this way! It's a regular bar with plenty of TVs. There were some sports fans but it was not full and loud. It felt much more personal. Taya was a great server! The burgers, club sandwiches, tater tots and fries were very good. The onion rings were overdone but tasted fine. My drinks were not shy on the rum. They were out of desserts. We were full but some of us would have had a sweet just to top off the outing. I didn't see any regular height tables or chairs. I'd like to recommend that they add a regular height table or 2 for folks that need that accommodation. Thankfully, my elderly parents were able to sit in the high backed chairs that we exchanged from the bar. We really appreciate the experience and will be here again.“

“Stopped by to celebrate our 45th anniversary. Our first time here, burger was perfect for me. My husband had the Cajun chicken sandwich. He said it was very tasty. Food was hot when served. Waitress was very pleasant and quick. tonight was karaoke too. We will be back.“

“This place is so cool! The food was very good and I can’t wait to go back for it. They also have a surprisingly delicious margarita. My fiends and I got a margarita tower which was so much fun! They also have DRAFT old fashions!!!! Crazy. But also very good. This place is perfect for friends, night out with coworkers, and has a unique but perfect layout for game days. Highly recommend this place.“

I am grateful for the way they handled our hockey team this weekend(40+ people), and grateful for the way they handle me and my family when its just us! Service was good. Food and drinks came out quick.

They have a patio that we didn’t utilize but upon entering on a chilly day, was quite warm. We sat inside at a booth style table. Wasn’t a fan of the booth seat as it didn’t allow for me to sit straight, the back had an angle to it so I’d have to lean it back like fat Joe.

We went on a Saturday afternoon and they had specials which was a great surprise to us. I paid less than $14 for a chicken sandwich, fries, and a mimosa. So it was a good deal! I left feeling satisfied, just a tip to ask for extra napkins!“

“Went in tonight with our kids for dinner and we were very impressed. Fantastic tuna melt to enjoy on a Friday and the kids devoured their wings, cheese sticks and salads. Games for the kids to enjoy and keep busy as well. Our sever Julie was exceptional! She made us feel welcomed and very attentive to the kids needs. We will be back and definitely will be requesting Julie’s area.“

“The food here is a BIG step above every other bar in the area. First time we came here we got the chicken tenders + fries on a whim and they came out perfect. “Anybody reading this, my mamaw was the barmaid there beginning in the 60s. Annie Ruth Ladd. They also lived above the bar for some time. My mother told me that she vividly remembers looking out the window and seeing the National guard going down Jefferson into Detroit. At that time, she was 9 years old. My mother grew up to work in the bar. Her name is Roseann or Rosie. I spent lots of my youth there, playing quarter machines. Rosie Also worked Square Deal. Y'all probably knew my papaw too his name was Jim Ray Boatwright and he was known in River Rouge as being one of the Town drunks lol God rest his soulCan't wait to stop in and reminisce!Also, if anybody knew my family or can share stories, please let me know. “My daughter had her 8th birthday party here. I was seriously impressed. It is very clean and well kept! The staff was very attentive. I had to tack on, last minute, extra pizzas and pop because I had more show up than expected. The staff made it happen quickly, didn't miss a beat! They were very nice. Happy to help us. The kids and adults had a blast! I would highly recommend. I even got compliments from other parents. Thank you Roosevelt lanes and the wonderful women and young man that took excellent care of us!
