“Located inside a supermarket, this place is a little hidden gem for fried chicken! Service was great, we walked up and were handed a sample tender and potato wedge. Got 12 pc chicken family meal that was way better and cheaper than KFC or chicken shack. The gentleman serving us gave us generous portions and was very nice. Everything tasted so good! Will be returning soon!“

The woman who took my order was polite and helpful .
I got the 3 piece and 4 piece original chicken meal , both with cole slaw and mashed / gravy and 2 biscuits .
It was packaged really nice .
Got home and we were both really impressed with everything , tasted fresh / warm and nicely presented in the carry out container .
Butter , honey and napkins in the bag .
We both said it’s something we would definitely order again .

“5 stars! The entire crew on 6/20/26 @ 11 am. I originally orders sides from here and chicken from somewhere else just trying to save a few bucks, it back and the place with chicken failed me. I came in and asked them how quick if possible at all they could do a decent size order of chicken. Nobody was annoyed as most probably would be, it was the exact opposite from the counter to the cooks they all said “no problem we can start it now” they were extremely nice from the second i walked in and even nicer somehow after they heard my situation.“

“This is my go-to place for fried fish and chicken. The fried green beans and fried corn on the cob are also delicious. I turned a couple of my friends on to this place as well, including a friend visiting from Georgia. She liked the food so much, she took pictures and posted them on social media. “Discovered this early today. The Cajun flavor's just right - not underwhelming or overwhelming. I ordered 3 wings with a side, and I chose Jambalaya. Now, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, coleslaw - those are conventional choices, but Jambalaya's a whole different ball game, you either get it right or not -- and theirs was awesome. “Recently had a great meal at the Chicken Shack restaurant on Ryan Road. Our order included ribs, coleslaw, chicken tenders and potatoes. Everything was exceptionally delicious. Usually do not care for white chicken meat. However Chicken Shacks are the most flavorful, moist and tender we have had. The food was served hot and staff very professional. “This was truly a religious experience. I’ve never had fried chicken or potato wedges like this before! Chicken was so crunchy and juicy inside with the perfect seasoning. Potato wedges were seasoned perfectly as well, crispy on the outside and mashed potato on the inside. They were out of biscuits so I can’t comment on that but all of this for $5! Unreal. Got the broasted potatoes for side orders and they were delicious as were the chicken and ribs. A bit pricey, but we don’t order from here very often. This place was not my first choice because we usually get our broasted chicken and ribs from Lazybones on Groesbeck but they closed on April 12. What a bummer.“
