“Love the improvements the new owners have done outside so far. The new patio and tables provide a place to sit and enjoy your treat. “Fast service, great space with parking right out the front door! Might be the best fries I’ve ever eaten in my life, and super tasty olive dip. My husband had the vegan buffalo chicken sandwich and raved how good it was. Will be back next time we are in town.“

If you were to lower your prices and speed up service this would be a no brainier.I hate to see good business' fail for silly reasons especially if it's as simple as someone giving them honest feedback.It can be difficult to give good people negative feedback. But it is important to do this, especially if we want to see businesses in our community thriving.“

“The woman who owns it has been there for 15 years. The hot dogs were beautiful and prepared the best I have ever seen. This is far better than a coney Island. My daughter got the nicest veggie dog I've ever seen. Worth the stop right near eastern market.“

“So, I tried 22 coneys this day and they were in one of the better ones. The business itself was very busy, but the staff was quick and efficient and extremely patient about the questions that I had about their food.

“Cheryl's Diggity Dogs is as American as it gets located in front of Lowe's, the biggest store in a strip mall on a section of Gratiot lined on either side with car dealerships. The hotdogs or polish sausages are great and you can get a pop and bag of chips for not much extra. One of my favorite places for a snack on my way home from work. Cheryl is very friendly, I'm not sure the name of the other employee but she is also nice. My only complaint is that the hours seem slightly irregular“

“I always make a stop at National Coney Island when I visit from out of town. Nothing like having a traditional chili cheese fries and a hani! This time I had their tasty 🥙 gyro.
Always quick friendly service. Large parking lot, wheelchair accessible!“

“I left Chicago after the taste of the town me and my homegirl drove over 4 hours just for a delicious corn beef sandwich it was the best thing I had ate all weekend. The food is always fresh and good. I absolutely love this place and I visit every time I’m in town. I’m from Toledo so it’s a 1 drive but always worth it. Chicago food has nothing on Detroit.“

“I love a good burger & fries from Five Guys. These burgers are not greasy & do not give me heartburn or indigestion. The fries are made fresh (they use real potatoes), and they always put twice as many fries in the bag. They have free in the shell peanuts. They're self-serve, so you can eat as much as you want. They are pretty pricey, but we don't eat out often, so when we do eat there, it's a treat. I have not yet tried their shakes.
FYI: This is NOT a traditional sit-down restaurant where a waitress seats you and takes your order. Just don't get your hopes up for a nice fancy place. You go in and order at the counter. But they're so soooooo good. I just wish they offered a combo deal for the burger
Update: they've added a meal option to add to your sandwich/burger. Yay!I can't give it more stars - I already gave it 5 stars. I just wanted to let people know that they did add the meal option. You get a fry (small, I think) and a drink for $5.00.“

“Love this place! The food is always great and consistently good every time we come in. The waitresses are friendly, polite, and attentive, always making sure we have everything we need throughout our meal. Great food, great service, and a place we always enjoy coming back to. Highly recommend Super Coney Island!“

“This morning I had a sausage, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich with lettuce, mayo and tomato and it was so good! I went back for dinner and had a loose burger and chili cheese fries with squeeze cheese and it was good! The parking lot is small and the drive thru is a bit awkward. I’ll definitely be returning“
