“Four of us had the 3 piece dusted perch dinner and the other had 3 piece pollack dinner. House salads or Cole slaw and a cup of chowder. Dinner was great as always. Drinks are a great a price. Service is always awesome. Kudos to all the staff. Summers coming and us locals will have a hard time getting a seat“

“Larry was one of the nicest people we met. Here we were out of gas in our vehicle, a friend lost in the woods and it was after he had closed down shop. Not only did larry say he would stay open for us to get fuel he offered to bring us some if we ran out trying to get to his store. We were so grateful for people like larry and I would recommend anyone to stop in and visit. Once again Thank you Larry for saving us.“

“Would highly recommend. Exceptional food and service in a warm, welcoming environment. Hit up happy hour first (4pm - 6pm) for appetizer specials and half off drinks. Then stay for dinner. Their French Onion Soup is amazing! The side salads were plenty big! Everything we ordered was cooked and seasoned to perfection!! The Gulf Shrimp Scampi with Parmesan Risotto & Sauteed Spinach was heavenly. Portion sizes are plentiful but save room for dessert. My recommendation - Lemon Pistachio Tiramisu (our party of 4 shared it). Three out of four of us needed to go boxes. Will definitely be repeat customers.“

This place does NOT serve food but you are free to order from the local restaurants in town and bring it in and that to me is awesome! Small businesses supporting small businesses. “Great food, quick service. Seemed a little understaffed as the wait staff was really running but that's pretty common anymore. They did great just the same and it's a nice family atmosphere in a town without much else for legitimate options.Parking: Parking is kind of free form when it is busy. We ended up just parking in a seemingly open spot in the grass as had a couple other patrons. No one seemed to mind.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly atmosphere. Kids menu is good and reasonably priced.“

“This is our best donut find, so far, for Northern Michigan. Unlike Tim's around the corner, they use a good amount of filling on their lunch sticks and eclairs. They have a pretty decent variety of doughnuts in addition to other guilty pleasures like breads and cookies. Buy everything fresh made today or off the day-old rack. You can also fill out an order form and return another time. The prices are in line and the people are friendly. The shoppe isn't very big but I've never seen a large crowd. It's a must stop when we're down here. 01/24“

“Alyssa did a great job of taking care of us last night. We arrived 6:15pmish. We were promptly seated. Alyssa was quick to visit us and serve beverages. I had a really terrific cheese burger with bacon and Swiss cheese - truly delicious. My wife enjoyed their version of a French Dip with au jus and house made chips. Our order was delivered within 10 minutes of placing it! QUICK (and good)! Nice work by all here. We’ll be back for sure with the rest of our family and grandkids. I highly recommend.“

“Standard quality experience at Culver's. First time enjoying a fresh Cod Filet sandwich with onion rings as a side. Usually get a double deluxe cheeseburger with either a side of onion rings or cheese curds but have heard good things about their fish sandwich and also wanted a lighter dinner.“

They continue to add more great flavors over the years plus continuing the traditional favorites like Blue Moon and Superman ‍♂️ I had coffee with chocolate shavings. It was great. “I recently visited Boyne Mountain Resort and went to Stein for dinner as it was includded as part of our guided snowshoeing tour.overall, it was a pleasant experience. The service was attentive and the waitstaff was friendly and knowledgeable. The atmosphere was inviting, with beautiful Mountain View’s and skie views.The food options was buffet but not vegetarian or vegan friendly. the prices were a bit high, particularly for ok drinks. “how have I not been here before? Such a fun warm up or lunch spot. we took Hemlock lift to get there, but it is SLOW! Still fun to see the view on the way down, however no skis allowed on it in 2023, we left ours at the bottom. Eagles nest is very casual, decent food, awesome view. Nice drink selection.“

“Quick service and very attentive waiter. Friendly enough. The food was hot but my mushroom Swiss burger seemed awfully salty. It still tasted good and with every bite I kept thinking, is it me?? Very salty. My husband had ribs which he said tasted great but didn’t fall off the bone. So dinner was good but not the best. I’d probably choose someplace else next time.“
