“My husband and I decided early on that food was going to be the most important part of our wedding day. We also knew that we wanted it to be 100% vegan. As big fans of Chive Kitchen when they had the restaurant in Farmington, we knew they could put together a fantastic menu for us. We hired Chive for food, bar service, and month-of consult and weekend coordinator. Suzy and team helped create an incredible evening that we will never forget.

After our first meeting with Suzy, we knew we were in good hands. As two guys who had never given a lot of thought to what our “dream” wedding would look like, she took our vague ideas and turned them into reality. We had a general idea of what type of venue we wanted, and her first suggestion was absolutely perfect. The bulk of the planning was left to us, but Suzy was always available to bounce ideas, provide advice, and steer us in the right direction.

Suzy’s creative vision, intuition, and experience are unmatched. Everything from a unique room layout and schedule of events to small details with table decor and custom menu items were executed flawlessly. Her team handled all of the set-up and tear-down, leaving us to just enjoy the day with our families. The decor was so thoughtful, warm, and just beautiful - more than we could ever try to articulate.

The curated vegan food, cocktails, and mocktails were absolutely delicious, and we received so many compliments from guests - even those who are leery of the “V” word. Bruschetta, buffalo bites, and fried artichoke appetizers were immediately devoured. Dinner was Caesar salad, braised cabbage, mashed potatoes, portobello steaks, and mostaccioli. All of it was so tasty (the BEST mushroom I’ve ever had) and we were reminded of all our wonderful dates at Chive Kitchen. We especially loved the custom cocktail themed after our chihuahua. And of course the cupcakes (pumpkin spice and chocolate) were a HUGE hit. Suzy was able to accommodate all of our guests' food allergies with ease.

On top of everything else, it meant a lot to us to work with a woman owned small business and fervent LGBTQ+ ally. Working with Suzy and her team was a dream. They did all the heavy lifting and we were able to truly enjoy and soak up the incredible evening that was put together for us. Chive was responsible for the most important part of our wedding which was coming together with family and friends to share a delicious meal. We will cherish the memories forever. “Seriously underrated place. Fantastic food - Tacos, meatloaf, fries, burgers. Great service both times. Only down side was the noise level gets intolerable Friday and Saturday nights. Had to leave from the noise to couldn't hear my friend sitting across the table.

I've suggested investing in some noise cancelling technology. Let's see if they act on it. Otherwise a wonderful place. The Christmas decor is adorable.“

“Our server Rachel very friendly. She did a great job. The food was good. My husband really enjoyed his burger. The space curds are out of this world (pun intended). Only thing we didn't like was the small high top tables that we were sat at, so we asked to move which they were okay with. I feel those tables are not big enough when you are having lunch or dinner. Maybe if you're there to have a beer or a cocktail and an appetizer. We will definitely visit again.“
