“I was so excited to try House of Umami as I love ramen. We visited for the first time on Easter. The decor is very nice, music was playing an a very reasonable volume. Our server was great!!!! The food......yummy. I got the Tokyo Shoyu Ramen, it was rich, hearty and very tasty! My spouse got the Ahi Tuna bowl. He very much enjoyed, but had one recommendation. The wasabi was buried at the bottom of the bowl, somewhat mixed in. His recommendation (and would likely order this way next time) have the wasabi on top where consumer can see and monitor how much they get in one bite. We also tried the plumb sake, yum! Will most definitely be back!“

“You can eat duck hotpot that is so delicious that you won't find this level of duck hotpot even in Japan! Please note that there are people who can speak Japanese and people who can only speak English. Also, the service of drinks is slow, so if you expect the same kind of service as a Japanese restaurant run by a Japanese person, you will be disappointed. It's always crowded, so it's best to make a reservation. Kamonabe is really delicious, so please try it once.“

“My friend and I stumbled on this place on accident. I'm so happy that we found this place! I live close so they'll have a repeat customer. The service was great, the lady was so sweet & patient with us. There's so many options to choose from so it'll take you a minute. I had the popcorn lobster and firecracker rolls they were delicious. My friend loved her Mr. Nice and Mexican rolls. We went on a Monday afternoon and it was pretty quiet. However, as the time progressed we noticed more families coming to dine in. “Koji has the most consistent experience in sushi that I've encountered. The quality is always exquisite and second to none. For being such a high quality restaurant the prices beat out all the rest and are comparable to any sushi goer. I eat sushi very often yet no one can match the quality of koji's sushi. “Went here for a quick lunch. Service was fast, food came out pretty fast and fresh of course. There was a mix up with my soup so I didn't get that on time. I got the yum yum roll and miso soup. The yum yum was very delicious and had everything that I liked on a sushi roll. To be honest, I did not like the way the restaurant was set up. The tables are very close together and a couple ended up sitting on the side from me and boxed me in. The next time I go here, I will pick a different spot or just get my food to go.“

“The actual place itself seemed clean. The only reason I'm not giving a full 5 stars was due to the cleanliness of plates. They're incredibly sticky and don't seem like they've been properly washed through an industrial dishwasher (my plate had food on it still). Service was relatively fast but nobody checked back in again after we placed our order. Although, our entire order did come out in about 7 minutes. The food overall was definitely phenomenal. My boyfriend and I came here due to reading reviews on Yelp. The Chicken Yaki udon noodles were incredibly flavorful. The portion was definitely worth the $15. The vegetables were cooked just enough that it wasn't too soft, but still had a slight crunch when biting into the dish. The Michigan Roll was a 6/10. We were thrown by the small slice of lemon that was on top. Whenever we picked a piece up, the roll would fall apart so it wasn't properly wrapped. The Cobra Roll was by far our favorite. It had the perfect amount of soft shell crab with eel, avocado, and crab salad. The sauce that was drizzled on top paired with it perfectly. Take some ginger and also let it all melt in your mouth.“

“I normally order the amazing shrimp roll with the dumpling soup. I ordered while sitting in the parking lot. Always, friendly and fast service. However, this time the soup was cloudy(normally clear like broth) and the dumpling taste was gooey/pastey like everything else inside. Times in the past I've ordered this soup, it's bright, fresh, slight crunch of the vegetables and soothing to the stomach(not this time)....I don't know if it had been sitting too long prior to being served but I hope this was just a one time failure. You could see the sushi chef working behind the counter as you wait, which wasn’t long it only took about 4-5 minutes for our order to be ready. “It’s a fantastic place to eat Thai. I had the pad Kashiwa shrimp, and my dining partner had Pad Kah Tiem with chicken. It was all delicious. I had mine medium spicy, and it was relatively mild. It was perfect, the perfect amount of seasoning, the perfect amount of spice. The prices are very fair. We also had the wonton soup. It does have bean sprouts, and roasted garlic add an extra layer of flavor. Best service, best flavors of Thai and Asian cuisine in the area. “Bowl with ahi tuna and salmon, delivered. Bowl was fresh which is what you want from a sushi/poke place. I was debating which combinations of base layer, meat, toppings, sauce, vege to get but honestly any combo works and you really can't go wrong. I especially enjoyed the spicy mayo, wasabi soy, sesame ginger. In the picture I posted, the top is the layer with content, there is a lot of rice/spring mix on the bottom. So just know it is like 60% rice/spring mix 40% other content which is a bit small for the price but wasn't bad. I overall enjoyed it and would return. Service was quick.“

“I really enjoy the food from here. I always order sweet and sour chicken meal with chicken fried rice and wontons. It’s always tasty and it’s hard to find a good Chinese food restaurant but this one is really good. I think as an improvement the staff could be a bit more personable but otherwise everything is great!“
