“Go for brunch, get a coffee, some food, relax, browse the internet, play board games, etc. Plenty of variety. A quirky , fun, experimental, artistic vibe atmosphere, unique for a Cafe/Brewery“

“Very unique small-business model, lovely peaceful atmosphere, very specialty coffee! The traditional japanese style coldbrew is the best cold coffee Ive ever had. The staff was a diverse array of backgrounds and identities, all super kind. Definitely a Safe Space for All!

“I’d only been to the UP location last year (and just about died when I found out they were in MI again), so when I saw this location on the way to a job interview a few months later I knew that was it. The Caribou may have influenced me into not only taking, but staying in the job more than the job did if we’re being honest. I get an espresso shaker and a random food item at least once a week and it’s the best part of my commute. Every barista is always so chipper and pleasant when I pull up, it’s enough to make me forget the harsh reality that this is no longer 2004. Give these people a medal because there’s no need for all that at 7 something in the morning, but they do it anyway with a smile and they do it well. I’ve been coming here for a few months and the worst thing I’ve ever experienced was a slightly crunchier croissant roll. I literally cannot recall a drink error ever. In fact, one time I ordered a soufflé and they gave me a raspberry scone but the scone was so good I didn’t actually notice I didn’t order it until I was almost done. I don’t know if that’s says more about me or the scone, but I wasn’t even disgruntled, I was just pleasantly surprised. I may be messy, but this Caribou never is. This coffee will heal me.“

“YUM! I had an excellent new latte today. I am very specific about lattes (not in a mean way) but I love a lot of ice. Syd and Gwynn made my drink today and it is so good. Also, if you ever have Krystal take your order, you are in luck, she is the sweetest human being ever. Love this place!!“

“Red Hook is everything I want in a coffee shop in one place, both locations are spot on, I’ve been in countless times now and for every penny you spend you get 2¢ in quality product, food, pastries, coffee in all varieties goes.
Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegan and vegetarian options, in all ways, gluten free folks not sure but they’re batting a good percentage already.“

“Pardon my French, but these are the best f***ing cookies I’ve had in a long time. They’re actually cookies! Not undercooked doughy nonsense like some other places. I’m going to get back to destroying the rest of the dozen I just bought.“

“Cozy spot in downtown Ferndale. The people are very friendly and it's always really clean. Great selection of food, drinks, and lots of sweets! My favorite thing is being able to get cider and cider mill donuts all year long. Hot cider and a cinnamon sugar donut in winter is an amazing treat“
