It has become my restaurant of choice to celebrate my birthday for many reasons. I love that they keep the beautiful patio open even during the hottest of days (which is usually what it is for my July birthday), they have the best seasonal menu additions that use local ingredients, and their laid back yet elegant charm is exactly what we always look for. The food is amazing! We love unfussy food that lets the quality ingredients shine and the raclette with a touch of honey just makes me grin from ear to ear (not to mention the tomato soup that is out of this world). The Frulingzauber "spring magic" cocktail is my favorite of all time. I would drink one every day for the rest of my life if I could. Of course, none of this would matter if the people weren't wonderful at Alpino, but they are just as warm and inviting as the food. I loved that they all signed a birthday card for me when we were there last. This is definitely a gem of a place that you don't find everywhere.“

We had my father in law's funeral luncheon here this past weekend and everything was incredible. The service, the room, the food, our main waitress was sweet as can be, and the guys helping her were great.

The staff was incredibly accommodating and gracious. This is not often a feeling I receive when bringing up food allergies. The food & drinks were so incredibly tasty and the views were unreal. The Train station, spires of St Anne’s and the Ambassador Bridge all in one shot. Turn to the left and you have the beautifully landscaped Roosevelt park to stroll through after enjoying the back porch. I’m so blown away, and so happy my friend finally got me here! “New menu was amazing. We had the potatoes, the scallops, burrata, and mushroom with shiitake dish. Burrata was hands down my favorite, thing. Perfect combination!! Highly recommend everything I got and the service was perfect, I mean like I finished my water and by the time my glass hit the table it was refilled. This was actually my second time, I’ve been before for a friends birthday and we had a different menu…..the pomegranate ribs were mouthwatering delicious. “The girl at the register is very nice and pleasant on the phone. The pizza was fantastic but the menu online needs to be updated. Every pizza on the list increased 35-45% in price which equates to $6-7 extra per pizza. The large cheese pizza is $19 not $13 the pepperoni is $22 not $15.“

“Oh MAN Rocco's is the place I have searched for in vain until last year when I tried them for the first time. Since that first meatball sub I have had almost every sandwich on the menu and so far not one has disappointed! Today I had the Corner Deli and was transported to Italian paradiso! In case you non-Italians did not know, ciabatta is the Italian baguette and Rocco's bakes many fresh loaves several times per day! Usually it is still warm from the oven even if you get a cold sandwich! There is no better sandwich bread in my progenic-Italian opinion! They are in Midtown on Cass just East of Mack. Try them if you have yet to do so. You will thank the gods!“

In happenstance we realized today that it is possible we had found ourselves dining on evenings that coordinated with scheduled live shows, that they were full to capacity and making a reservation early on the as recommended. This Saturday there were no shows scheduled and they were slow. I do not know why unless folks , even myself due to past experience, think Andiamo’s is always so busy that we could not get a last minute reservation? The food is always amazing in the restaurant. Not only the traditional Italian dishes but the quality of their steaks are Prime! The New York Steak cuts and eats as tender as a Fillet at other restaurants,seriously! Their Fillet is delicious too. Their soups are a must. The White Onion Soup is our fav. If you enjoy French Onion Soup you will enjoy this. Think French Onion Soup that just became a little easier to eat. LOL I have yet to order something we did not thoroughly enjoy. The table side Spaghetti Carbonara is a must. Great selection of deserts. The Carrot Cake, Tiramisu and the best Spumoni ice cream are shareable! Service here has remained intact as you would expect at a fine dining establishment. They have maintained their standards in an era where so much seems to be going to the wayside when it comes to dining out. Prices appear on point if not better than most. “THE BEST PIZZA OF ALL TIME. This is my go to restaurant for lunch and dinner whenever I get a break from school. I bring my family and friends all the time and love to introduce new people to this restaurant. Told my teachers about it and they love it. I bring new friends every week. Everyone I recommend it to loves it just as much as I do. The staff is excellent, some of the best people ever. They are kind and will always have a conversation with you. Very family oriented. Not only is the pizza perfect, but everything they serve is 10/10. The pizza has the perfect crust, not too hard or soft. The cheese and sauce melts in your mouth. Everything is very very reasonably priced as well. Cannot say good enough things about this place. Everything is 10/10 perfection. Will go here until the day I die.“
