“I’m new to the area and ordered pizza and breadsticks from here a couple weeks ago..it was delicious.. Today, I found myself too lazy to cook for myself again and again I put my trust into passport pizza. I was not disappointed. This time I tried the bone in wings. Boy oh boy, when I tell you they were the best carry out wings I have ever had.. I mean it..I was unsure about the mango habanero sauce so it was suggested when I ordered that I get them with the sauce on the side. Well, I ate all of the wings and I still don’t know what the sauce tastes like. They were so good it never even crossed my mind to cover them with anything.. So, if anyone is new to the area (or not) and is unsure of where to order food from.. skip the big pizza chains you’ve been eating and try Passport Pizza in Roseville on 10 mile n Gratiot. You’ll be happy you did.“

“Yo! Mootz is a really good spot for Detroit-style pizza! We walked by and saw a lot of smiling faces, so dropped in, and I’m glad we did! I had a slice of the buffalo chicken pizza, as well as a slice of cheese pizza. After the first bite, I quickly understood why there were so many smiling faces in there! What’s cool about this place is that they have a takeout side where you can walk up, get your pizza, and go hang out in one of the neatest alleys in Detroit!“

“I honestly don't know why it has taken me so long to write a review for Alpino because my husband and I love this place so much! It has become my restaurant of choice to celebrate my birthday for many reasons. I love that they keep the beautiful patio open even during the hottest of days (which is usually what it is for my July birthday), they have the best seasonal menu additions that use local ingredients, and their laid back yet elegant charm is exactly what we always look for. The food is amazing! We love unfussy food that lets the quality ingredients shine and the raclette with a touch of honey just makes me grin from ear to ear (not to mention the tomato soup that is out of this world). The Frulingzauber "spring magic" cocktail is my favorite of all time. I would drink one every day for the rest of my life if I could. Of course, none of this would matter if the people weren't wonderful at Alpino, but they are just as warm and inviting as the food. I loved that they all signed a birthday card for me when we were there last. This is definitely a gem of a place that you don't find everywhere.“

“We order Carlo’s for dinner often! Almost weekly! We had our son’s birthday this last week and we ordered 2 party trays of pizza, 75 wings & a large catered size Cesar salad. We originally hoped for the pizza to be thin crust as that’s what we usually always ordered but were informed that the party size only comes in deep dish, but we were ok to give it a try. None the less, everything was amazing! Fresh & hot! We always order wings & knew those would be a hit. There were a lot of compliments on the salad! Also a first try for me and will definitely be apart of our future orders! We also just might be rotating out a deep dish pizza and thin crust from now on. Carlo’s exceeded our expectations and we are so glad we chose them. Definitely recommend for large events & or just a regular pizza night for dinner 😊“

“Oh MAN Rocco's is the place I have searched for in vain until last year when I tried them for the first time. Since that first meatball sub I have had almost every sandwich on the menu and so far not one has disappointed! Today I had the Corner Deli and was transported to Italian paradiso! In case you non-Italians did not know, ciabatta is the Italian baguette and Rocco's bakes many fresh loaves several times per day! Usually it is still warm from the oven even if you get a cold sandwich! There is no better sandwich bread in my progenic-Italian opinion! They are in Midtown on Cass just East of Mack. Try them if you have yet to do so. You will thank the gods!“

“Tonight I attended a wedding at C & G and could not be more impressed, and also pissed at myself for not patronizing this welcoming restaurant sooner. I’m lactose intolerant and allergic to chicken. The staff was incredibly accommodating and gracious. This is not often a feeling I receive when bringing up food allergies. The food & drinks were so incredibly tasty and the views were unreal. The Train station, spires of St Anne’s and the Ambassador Bridge all in one shot. Turn to the left and you have the beautifully landscaped Roosevelt park to stroll through after enjoying the back porch. I’m so blown away, and so happy my friend finally got me here! Ingredients were so fresh , perfectly done thin crust, big size for a personal size, and a price that would rival a pizza chain. “Been here several times over the last couple of years, it feels like the best place locally to get fresh pasta in GP, especially in the Village/Hill. The food is fresh, flavorful, unique, cooked perfectly, everything you'd expect and want for the cost. They do have a good happy hour that's changed around a few times, it used to be better for drinks and they are ending it earlier at 5pm but it's worth checking out. It can be difficult to get service when it's busy and you're sitting at the bar, plus on a couple of occasions I've seen people get loud and out of hand without any intervention by the management.“

“Stopped in for lunch. Being a conisseaur of French onion soup, of course I ordered it. Hands down one of the BEST I have had! my mom ordered the lemon chicken and I ordered Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo. Both were excellent dishes and packed with home made flavor. I will for sure be going back to try more dishes and for more French onion!!“
