“I’m new to the area and ordered pizza and breadsticks from here a couple weeks ago..it was delicious.. Today, I found myself too lazy to cook for myself again and again I put my trust into passport pizza. I was not disappointed. This time I tried the bone in wings. Boy oh boy, when I tell you they were the best carry out wings I have ever had.. I mean it..I was unsure about the mango habanero sauce so it was suggested when I ordered that I get them with the sauce on the side. Well, I ate all of the wings and I still don’t know what the sauce tastes like. They were so good it never even crossed my mind to cover them with anything.. So, if anyone is new to the area (or not) and is unsure of where to order food from.. skip the big pizza chains you’ve been eating and try Passport Pizza in Roseville on 10 mile n Gratiot. You’ll be happy you did.“

“We order Carlo’s for dinner often! Almost weekly! We had our son’s birthday this last week and we ordered 2 party trays of pizza, 75 wings & a large catered size Cesar salad. We originally hoped for the pizza to be thin crust as that’s what we usually always ordered but were informed that the party size only comes in deep dish, but we were ok to give it a try. None the less, everything was amazing! Fresh & hot! We always order wings & knew those would be a hit. There were a lot of compliments on the salad! Also a first try for me and will definitely be apart of our future orders! We also just might be rotating out a deep dish pizza and thin crust from now on. Carlo’s exceeded our expectations and we are so glad we chose them. Definitely recommend for large events & or just a regular pizza night for dinner 😊“

“Driven by here many times but never stopped in, and we finally went in today. The owner (i think?) was so sweet! We ordered 2 Italian beefs (1 hot, 1 mild), a chicago dog, and Cajun shrimp soup. Never had an Italian beef before, but this did not disappoint! The giardiniera was super flavorful, and the sandwich didn't skimp on the beef. I've had many chicago dogs, in Chicago, and this one held up with the competition there. The andouille sausage in the soup was AMAZING. We will 100% be going back here!

ARE YOU KIDDING ME. In a town with very few...flavorful...options, Max's is a goldmine!!! I had the Cajun shrimp soup and not only was it delicious, but everything tasted fresh, warm, and like it came straight from someone's kitchen. The owner (who's name I'm sorry to have missed!) was so kind and warm. To think we've been living here over a year and had never encountered this place!

“My parents have said for some time that this pizza was the best in the area, and I finally got to try it today. They were right! We had their round supreme and square Hawaiian with a side or marinara and ranch. The sauce on this is pizza is perfect - very fresh flavor but not too acidic. Generous on the toppings, quality mozzarella, and the bread is some of the best I’ve had. Do yourself a favor and stop by Little Italy!“

It has become my restaurant of choice to celebrate my birthday for many reasons. I love that they keep the beautiful patio open even during the hottest of days (which is usually what it is for my July birthday), they have the best seasonal menu additions that use local ingredients, and their laid back yet elegant charm is exactly what we always look for. The food is amazing! We love unfussy food that lets the quality ingredients shine and the raclette with a touch of honey just makes me grin from ear to ear (not to mention the tomato soup that is out of this world). The Frulingzauber "spring magic" cocktail is my favorite of all time. I would drink one every day for the rest of my life if I could. Of course, none of this would matter if the people weren't wonderful at Alpino, but they are just as warm and inviting as the food. I loved that they all signed a birthday card for me when we were there last. This is definitely a gem of a place that you don't find everywhere.“

“The great outweighed the bad. The house salads were fresh and delicious and the complimentary bread is tasty. The pasta dishes were both delicious. Rigatoni Boscaiola and Pappardelle Bolognese. The Cannoli Cream martini is sinful. The tiramisu was good. The service was adequate. The table was one of three down the middle of the restaurant behind the host stand and next to the bar. We felt very crowded. The servers and other guests had to turn sideways to get past our table. The chairs are super comfy, but those tables are squeezed in too tight of a space. We can’t wait to come back for the delicious food and drinks, but we will sit at the bar next visit.“

“Very intimate. Very small. Quaint. Luckily it was not filled to capacity, as my chair was in aisle and tables are very close together. Draft from outdoors was very cold & brisket.
The bread basket was nice, good crust & tasty interior. The salad & blue cheese crumbles was fresh & good portion. Dressing was a bit sweet, my fault for not asking on the side. Gnocchi was a generous portion. & magnificent; light, & fluffy They made it Florentine for me; delicious. My friend's portion of piccata was nice, broccoli nicely steamed, no fluff. Potatoes looked nice and a bit textured, I didn't not taste. Other tables portions looked generous also. Tiramisu for dessert. Most memorable? The gnocci! Might be the best I've ever eaten. “I've only bought the Italian sub but I noticed they make pizzas also while you wait. There's an array of salads plus frozen pizza you can pop in the oven. I've had a lot of subs but these are the very best. They make them while you wait.“

“Oh MAN Rocco's is the place I have searched for in vain until last year when I tried them for the first time. Since that first meatball sub I have had almost every sandwich on the menu and so far not one has disappointed! Today I had the Corner Deli and was transported to Italian paradiso! In case you non-Italians did not know, ciabatta is the Italian baguette and Rocco's bakes many fresh loaves several times per day! Usually it is still warm from the oven even if you get a cold sandwich! There is no better sandwich bread in my progenic-Italian opinion! They are in Midtown on Cass just East of Mack. Try them if you have yet to do so. You will thank the gods!“

“Tonight I attended a wedding at C & G and could not be more impressed, and also pissed at myself for not patronizing this welcoming restaurant sooner. I’m lactose intolerant and allergic to chicken. The staff was incredibly accommodating and gracious. This is not often a feeling I receive when bringing up food allergies. The food & drinks were so incredibly tasty and the views were unreal. The Train station, spires of St Anne’s and the Ambassador Bridge all in one shot. Turn to the left and you have the beautifully landscaped Roosevelt park to stroll through after enjoying the back porch. I’m so blown away, and so happy my friend finally got me here! “The girl at the register is very nice and pleasant on the phone. The pizza was fantastic but the menu online needs to be updated. Every pizza on the list increased 35-45% in price which equates to $6-7 extra per pizza. The large cheese pizza is $19 not $13 the pepperoni is $22 not $15.“

“New menu was amazing. We had the potatoes, the scallops, burrata, and mushroom with shiitake dish. Burrata was hands down my favorite, thing. Perfect combination!! Highly recommend everything I got and the service was perfect, I mean like I finished my water and by the time my glass hit the table it was refilled. This was actually my second time, I’ve been before for a friends birthday and we had a different menu…..the pomegranate ribs were mouthwatering delicious. “Took my wife for her first time Valentine day we enjoyed the show , not sure what happened with server’s we were given dessert before dinner , dinner was chicken risotto mine was under cooked so I ask could they redo it they was like sure but when it came out it was worse so no dinner for me or my wife, wofe doesn’t like to send food back but I could tell hers was too she only ate the chicken.“
