“Before we moved away in 1972 (when I was 10) This was my father's bar.... Where everybody KNEW HIS NAME.... and I often was with him and everybody knew MY NAME, and bought me Shirley Temples.... I played in the empty stage area on the other side of the bar area.... Has it changed in 60 years? Because I would love to see it if it has NOT.... but I looked up this place because of beloved memories, so I wanted to share. Thank you.“

“We dined in a couple days ago for the first time. The food was absolutely amazing! I tried the Yum Yum burger and my husband ordered the Reuben. Our waitress was very nice. However I felt bad for her. It looked like only her and one other server were waiting on all tables which were full. We rarely saw her and our drinks were never refilled. We were there an hour and a half, 25 minutes of that was simply waiting for the check. It is a great place! But maybe plan to be there a while if you do go.“

“BEST FOOD Ever for Downriver's Best Brewery. Outstanding selection of Brews!! Ate there constantly since they opened in Nov 2019. Food is DEEEEELICIOUS! 3 Awesome Brewers/Owners, 5 Outstanding Waitresses, and 2 Superb Cooks. Their constant smiles are catchy for all to view!! Just a wonderful & comfortable place to visit and relax at. And you can play Domino’s there too! Always Enjoy.“

“I've been here several times as a guest and always enjoyed it and loved all the tradition this organization has. Everyone is friendly and the entertainment is always top notch. I love the beautiful waterfront view here at the point where the Detroit River opens into Lake Erie. This club is connected to an island that is connected to an island that is connected to an island. “I've been going to this place to watch the Wings win since the 1990s, but have since moved to Alaska. But everytime I come home, I'm still drawn to this place like a moth to a flame. It's changed over the years, but they still keep high quality beers in tap and in the bottle.
They removed the TV from the men's room, which needs to be out back so a guy doesn't miss a goal while having a piss. Its only fair, right?“

“This is our 2nd time here and we love it! We've been on a slow Sunday, and a busy Thursday evening. Two different experiences for sure, but each time the server was super personable and food was amazing.
The pizza is SO good! I'm from the east coast and it reminds me of pizza I had growing up...made by Italians! You can tell whoever created the menu loves food. The combinations of tastes in each dish are so satisfying and different from a lot of other places around. We definitely plan on returning a bunch!“

“This place is amazing with delicious food & drinks, fair prices, and the environment is as welcoming, professional, and friendly as any dive bar can get. No complaints there.
However, I unfortunately have to take 1 star away for the long wait times on the food...at least for now until that's improved upon in the future. That's where API really falls short in my opinion, especially when ordering takeout. This is never a problem with drinks or the bar experience, which is where this place truly shines and what keeps me coming back as a regular, since I can at least enjoy a couple beers, shots, or cocktails while waiting to eat; and they got Faygo for you if it's not your drinking day. But it does not take too long to be acknowledged by a server.
It's also very loud in there even when it's mildly busy, which can easily cause bigger orders to get skipped over, misheard, or messed up. I can't really hold that against anyone since that is not in anyone's control as far as I know, but just be sure to make your orders loud and clear with the servers.
I could honestly care less about the cash-only restriction I hear about. Even if cards are supported now or eventually, I'd still advise carrying cash as the smart play and the ATM is your friend regardless.“

“First time trying Frank’s. My wife looked up places to try for good walleye and it came up so figured, why not? A little frustrating trying to find it initially, but we’re glad we did! Food was excellent. My wife had the walleye and said that it was one of the best she’s had in a long time. I had the catfish and loved it. Breading wasn’t heavy so you could taste the fish and the hush puppies were devoured quickly they were that good. All in all highly recommend and we’ll be back!“

“Came in tonight for a girls Christmas party. Our waitress did amazing with so many women coming in at different times. She was attentive and made sure our drinks never went dry. She had just came back from a leave and with a new system, and a system error, she never acted stressed. I’m so happy we had our party at @sneakys again this year.“
