“My wife and I finally made it here, for lunch, she got the taco salad, served in the edible bowl and I was in the mood for chili cheese fries. Both dishes were good and plentiful. “My bartender, think his name was Jack, absolutely a gem. My partner and I have OCD and we are super anxious about it. Jack was so patient with us and nice about everything. “I retired from BASF and had lunch here often and it was consistently very good. I went recently for dinner and the food and atmosphere was as remembered. I had to knock the service a little for being slow but in their defense I was in a group of 11.Parking: Parking on the street is best but very limited. There is a large lot in the back.“

“This place is a big surprise. Looks like a dumpy neighborhood bar from the outside. Stuck in a small factory village but the factory is long gone. Not much parking available so we expected it to be completely full.Inside: more room than expected. Nicer than expected. Awesome food (bar food - burgers and fish and enchaldas). This was the biggest surprise. Simply did not expect food this good here. Good beer choices too. A variety of local (Michigan) craft beers on tap. The waitress was a little grumpy, but everyone has a bad day. Service was still very good, but no service with a smile. It was very busy though so she did not have a lot of time to be friendly.Burgers were outstanding and Enchaladas were huge and delicious. Great fries too. Patrons were just normal people having a nice time. Good Folk.Parking: The tiny lot fills up fast, there is some street parking in the little neighborhood. There is a fitness center that is closed at night - not likely to get towed there.“

“I was in a party of 9 on a lunch outing with coworkers, and one restaurant down the street let us sit for about 30 minutes with no service. We called Whiskey's to see if they could accommodate us. “The food is good and reasonably priced. It's a nice bar with a quiet section with tables to dine at. The hamburgers are very good and the crack fries are delicious.Wheelchair accessibility: It's very easy to get in the door and maneuver around the tables and bar but the bathroom is definitely not accessible. There's barely enough room for a mobile person to get into the stall a walker won't fit and a wheelchair is a definite no-go.“

“I love this place. Sundays during lions games they great food and drink specials. The food they lay out is free and it varies each week. The lions score and its $1.00 beers. The barmaid is a cutie. She sees to your every need. If you want a place to relax and enjoy yourself, this is it.“

“My fiancé and I came here with a friend when the lions played Monday night football. They had 1 single waitress and the place was packed. She was running around like a chicken with her head cut off, we felt awful for her. She didn’t even get a second to breathe. She was super nice and surprisingly attentive considering the amount of tables she had and how busy she was, but they really should at least have 2 people waiting on tables at night. The only issue I had was how hard this poor waitress was working“

“Just doing u.s.c.g. vessel exams at the yacht club had a great lunch. Nice cold water 👍 and good hot coffee. If you have never been in the military you wouldn't understand about hot coffee or cold water. I been to El Mar,OPM, Seaway,GBY,Da Mark. My place at GLSBC, the team will be at Trout, Ford,Swan Creek and a couple of other. So if you want a vessel exam call the Trenton coast guard Auxiliary. Remember safe boatings is all the time“

“Welcoming neighborhood bar. It's got that old "dive bar" feel, which makes for a cool vibe. Their is a pool table to keep people entertained, along with some other games in the back.They do not serve food, aside from bagged chips and nuts. Their beer is cheap as well. To go along with that neighborhood bar feel, the bar is located on a residential side street, which I assume would make the bar Grandfathered in, due to zoning laws. But it's kind of nice having a neighborhood bar off of the the main drag.Overall, the place is worth the visit.“

There are also pool tables in another area.I came in here for just the 2nd time the other day. I ordered a tequila mixed drink and then a beer. The price was pretty good. “Nice place, Service was well paced, We had plenty of time to enjoy ourselves and our meals. I had the Chilean Sea Bass entree, It was very tasty. Comes on a bed of egg omelet with a house salad. It was my first time having this fish. The Fish was very tasty, but the portion was about the size of a playing card, for $42 I expected it to be larger. I have no experience when it comes to Sea bass dinners so portion and cost could be right on market .In the end we were well served , Waitress was great as was hostess. Will return.“

First time having Detroit Style pizza, from literally the pizza joint that invented it...it's definitely in the top 3 best pizzas I've ever had! And their garlic cheese bread was fantastic as well!
