We got the pepper steak, the Szechuan beef, and the crab surprise or whatever it was called (crab rangoons)

Portions were huge!

Beef was tender

Crab rangoons were delicious

10/10 would recommend and will be back. One of the better local takeout spots ❤“

“I would ride at dawn for this little spot. The food is so very affordable for its quality and very delicious. Being local, you treasure a spot when it's like that especially when everything costs as it does. I usually order almond chicken, maybe some chicken lo mein. The meal, which can be shared amongst my family, cost me roughly $12. They do accommodate your preferences as well, whether you want lighter oil or maybe to hold a certain item. But everything is delicious and the folks running it are truly gems in our little community. It's a humble spot but it's worth it all.“

“I have eaten here several times over the last few years, the food is always fresh, hot, and the portions are HUGE. The place is a "mom and pop". it's ran by the owners, a husband-and-wife team. Because it's just the two of them when it gets busy it takes them awhile to answer the phone and there could be as much as a 30–45-minute wait for your food. It's also carry out only. If you don't mind the no dine in option or the wait, this will probably be one of the best Chinese food places you have eaten at in the downriver area.“

“The food here is excellent. Tasty, flavorful, and piping hot in temperature...the way any good restaurant does it. Prices are very reasonable, and the service is helpful and friendly. They serve pork! Which makes me happy because the Chinese restaurant closest to where I live does not. There's tables and chairs inside to sit down. A great place to be five stars out of 5.“

We ordered almond chicken, General Tso chicken, sweet/ sour chicken and sesame chicken and it was delicious. The chicken was all nice white meat and the sauces were fabulous. Egg rolls were yummy too.

We will most definitely order from them again.“

“My go to Chinese food spot, any day of the week! Their S&S chicken is absolutely delicious! They spice up the s&s sauce with bell peppers and the flavor profile is simply mouth watering! General Tso? Delicious! Want the lo mein? Go for it, it is also delicious! Pepper steak is tender and fresh! Fried rice is perfect! Egg rolls? Delectable! You can't go wrong when choosing Hong Kong Inn!!!“

“This is my first visit to Mandarin Kitchen. I ordered #4 almond chicken combination with wonton soup and egg roll and hot tea. The almond chicken was pretty good topped with brown gravy. Wonton soup and egg roll was nice and hot and (egg roll was) crispy. 4 and 1/2 stars.“

“The food was fresh, hot, and tasty. Generous amount of food for the price. I ordered me and my boyfriend sweet and sour chicken with shrimp fried rice (upcharge) for lunch one with an egg roll the other with the egg drop soup. It is so hard to find a Chinese restaurant that actually has stuff in their rice that gives it flavor a lot of places have absolutely plain fried rice which I am not a fan of not a onion or sprout in sight but theirs does and I’ll be back to try other dishes. “Only Chinese place we go to. Food is always correct and hot. Cheap compared to other restaurants as well. I highly recommend. I love the general tso dinner. Egg rolls are always crispy and they sub the egg roll for double rice no problem as well.“
