“It was pretty good, the staff were quick and friendly and the place was nice overall although it was a little cold and the food was alright, i ordered a medium rare stake and it was medium well but the broccoli had a good flavor and the mashed potatoes were warm and flavorful. Overall it was a nice experience and i had a good time.“

“We were staying in Oxford, so I did a service for Dive Bar and came across this one. We stopped in for a couple of drinks and got to chat with the bartender, Megan, who is just wonderful. Best prices around for well drinks and we will be back. Side note, this is a cash bar only.“

“An Irish pub with a decent pint of Guinness on tap and also Magner's. The fish and chips are very good - would have preferred cod instead of haddock, but on the plus side they have malt vinegar. The Guinness Steak and Mushroom pie was also exceptionally good. The staff were super friendly and service was fast even in a busy Friday evening. Would definitely recommend.“

“This is a great lil place to get away from the chaos for a bit. Great staff, calm inviting atmosphere, good prices on drinks. “We were staying at a campground in Oxford and I did a search for dive bars and found this one about an hour away. We were greeted by the bartender Rhonda (Big Bird) who is very friendly and knows how to pour a good drink. Prices are great ($3 for well drinks). The bar has a lot of history and we got to meet the son of one of the original owners.“

“We walked to this bar from the Hampton Inn down the road for a few drinks. The service was good. The bar tender was friendly and had a great voice. They are a Kareoke bar too. We sat on the other end of the place since we were not going to be singing, but some of the people were good“

“If you like karaoke you will love this bar! Whether you can carry a tune or not, get behind that mick. No judgment zone here. It's loud- not too bad though, and everyone's having fun. There are two pooltables so you can play a game in between singing your favorite karaoke tunes. Bartender Ladies have great personalities and gorgeous!Only four stars because the parking lots lighting sucks and trying to get up to the bar's door entrance from the back of the bar's parking lot your blinded from the light that's at the bar's door entrance shining in your eyes.“

“Quality Continues through COVID This week has been a hard week and with numbers growing our house was looking for comfort food. That is exactly what we got. Food arrived warm via Uber eats and the portion sizes and fair. We started with the cheese curds; served with a rich gravy, both were delicious. For our main courses we had the Buffalo chicken and sweet chilli shrimp wrap. As usual both wraps were loaded chicken and shrimp and not with filler lettuce; a personal pet peeve of mine. The Buffalo chicken had great flavour and chilli shrimp was sweet with a slight zing. Our side dishes were onion rings and cactus potato’s. If you like cactus potatoes with a bite then you should try these. Just crispy enough with a burst of flavour in each bite. The only downside to our dinner were the onion rings. They were a little under cooked for my taste; I prefer mine crispy. They were saved by the dip that came with it. Rich but not overly so that it over powered the pairing. Another win for Twos!“

“Dave and I ate at Crabby Joe’s this evening. Dave had a BLT and fries and I had the ribs fries and had ordered a side Caesar salad. There was a misunderstanding about the menu and this was clarified by Emma. Later, there was an error made regarding the agreed-upon choices and Emma. Was proactive in correcting the problem satisfactory demonstrating good business practice.
We encountered more than one assistant or server, but it was Emma with whom we had the most contact. Emma was pleasant, engaging, personable, sensible, knowledgeable, professional, and a good problem solver.
