“Burk’s Igloo is the best ice cream in Hamtramck! The flavors are rich, creamy, and absolutely delicious. Every bite is worth it. The staff is friendly, prices are great, and the old-school vibe makes it even better. A true Hamtramck favorite — highly recommend!“

“Perfect, peaceful cafe. Had both the espresso and cappuccino during different visits. They were brewed at the right temp, which allowed for immediate sipping without burning my mouth. The Gelato was great and and was very smooth. The spoons were cute too. Kids and I have returned 2xs after discovery of this place and enjoy the simple, elegant and peaceful vibes the environment provides to end a long day or week. Staff is also extremely friendly.“

“My first time trying it. You can order on the app. It is very clean and quick service.
The cookies were alright, very thick and loads of sugar was too sweet for me. Definitely recommend sharing a box as it is super sweet.
I am giving it a 4 stars just because I think it’s too overrated and cookies are way too thick for me and expensive.
If you can handle sweets, definitely recommend trying it out.“

“Love this place! Close to home so we stop in pretty frequently to check out the latest flavors. The new remodel looks awesome and definitely brings out a castle vibe. There is now a space for people to have game nights and host events as well. Another great feature is the amount of vegan & gluten free options available. The owner is great and really brings the whole place together!“

They generously donated ice cream for the Dakota Football team’s annual tailgate, keeping our boys cool on a 90-degree day. We are beyond thankful for their kindness and support—it means so much to all of us! 💙🏈🍦 On top of that, Scoop and Twist is the only place we trust for hard scooped ice cream. As a family with kids who have nut allergies, it’s priceless to know how careful they are. They keep nut and non-nut ice creams completely separate and never use the same scooper. “The best cookies and cinnamon roll in Metro Detroit. The cinnamon rolls are huge, made fresh and served warm on the weekends. They are always a big hit at my Open Houses! Highly recommend both, and I look forward to trying the ice cream cookie sandwich. it looks amazing, you can customize your sandwich by choosing your choice of cookies and ice cream flavors.“

“The Apple Bar was delicious! So far my favorite sandwiches are the Italian Lunch Wrap and Veggie Bun. The Chocolate Almond Croissant is wonderful as well. I'd like to try some of the other bagel sandwiches. Wish they were open later bc I get out of work after they close. My friend and I loved the ambience. We plan on coming back.“

“I popped in when I saw they had fresh baklava. I’m from the west side of Michigan where It’s hard to find good, real baklava. I’m so very happy I stopped in to buy a large tray of baklava. It has been quite the hit in my house and at work. Some of the best baklava I’ve had. Unfortunately though, their website is down so several co-workers were unable to order.“
