“If I could give this 100000 stars I would. My husband and I tried it for the first time today for our anniversary! The service is amazing! The staff all around were so welcoming and kind! “We tried the Detroit Pepper Company tonight, first time! We went with the Detroit Stuffed Pepper, beef with parmesan cheese. Very good taste, and huge. We also ordered the Vegan Stuffed Pepper, but we will have to try it tomorrow for lunch...too full from the Detroit Stuffed Pepper! We also tried the lentil bean soup, very nice. And my wife enjoyed the Mango Tastic smoothie:-) We're happy to learn about the Detroit Pepper Company, and we'll be back. Highly recommended. A very clean take-out only place, with good food and a very friendly staff.“

“I didnt know anything about Soul Food, but have come here several times now. Very tasty meals and good kind service. The neighborhood is beautiful and it is easy to find by driving up Jefferson toward Pewabic Pottery, turn onto Van Dyke and just park right along Agnes. The neighborhood has one of those pretty names, too, tho sadly I have forgotten. But the food is the big deal, and the folksy service. I even got dessert as well. It is really worth the trip!“

“For my 65th birthday and my soon to be dauhter-in, laws 25 birthday we celebrated at J. Baldwins! The food was excellent. Soooo good, I've never had better food. I even ordered 2 other meals and dessert to take home! I recommend this restaurant as a 20 on a 1 - 10 scale it was that yummy! 5 stars!“

“Clean, friendly, attentive, excellent food. You can tell right away when you walk to the door that the owners love this place and are proud of it. I had the steak and eggs, both cooked to my rare/over medium delight and my rye toast actually came with my meal. So important. Loved our waitress Becky. I'm from Sfld and my sisters are in Mt. Clemens. We will make this our meeting spot from now on.“

“What a wonderful place! The menu generally consists of Wagu burgers (flawless) stellar sandwiches, pizzas (perfect), dinner and side salads (big) soup, appetizers, and a couple of entrees. All of it is incredibly good. Be sure to try the Tempura Asparagus. It’s a favorite.
Service is provided by one or two people jetting around taking care of people, and they are always cheerful, accommodating, and mindful. The atmosphere is strictly “Cheers”. Lot of folks know each other, and we often see people we e seen before. No need to dress up or dress down, either. Come as you are.
We will keep coming back!“

“We have no experience of "real" Korean food; we rely on what is offered by local Great Detroit restaurants but I can say what Chung Ki Wa has to offer is in absolute terms of very good quality, tasteful and satisfying. Plus the fact that the place is crowded by Asian guests, once more means a lot. We chose the well known Korean BBQ although in the menu much more is available. 2 types of meat and all the side small dishes that are usual with the BBQ, plus the dih similar to a big omelette with different vegetables. Everything was very good and tasty, no complains at all.“

“Oh My Gosh. went today and ordered a Meatball Sub and the Paremesan Chicken Cutlet Sub. Bought some of their lasagna and tomato basil soup. Took a bite of the Lasagna. Yummy. I was a big Ventimiglia fan, but this will be now my go to place. Wanted to get more from their prepared foods but fridge was down. Will be back again tomorrow. Definitely over 5 stars .“
