“Just moved to garden city and took the recommendation to give this place a try. I was amazed at the service and the freshness of each meal. The best burger I have ever had hands down. The Cajun waffle fries are not too strong and perfectly crispy. I love that I can see the chefs preparing the food. $10 for an adult meal is a great bargain and cheaper than buying stuff to cook at home. I will definitely be back. By far my favorite food place in garden city so far.“

Two super nice people, a wonderful young man and wonderful young woman apologized over and over even though it wasn’t their fault and made it right. “We had our wedding shower at Guernsey Restaurant last weekend & could not have asked for a better experience! We had 35 people and the waitresses were on top of everything the entire time. I’m not sure if this was planned or if she just did it, but one of the waitresses was almost entirely dedicated to me as the bride, making sure I was never without a drink, being there for anything that was needed, they were wonderful! “Have been living in the area for a few years and it is always hopping every time I drive by. Decided to stop there yesterday with my husband. They had an overwhelming selection to choose from. Almost too many options my husband said. They had flurries, ice cream, shakes, frozen yogurt, frozen drinks, frozen coffee, and even physical ice cream packages. They had so many flavors as well. I personally loved how many options they had. I got the frozen yogurt with salted caramel and my husband got strawberry shortcake flurry. There was actual strawberry shortcake in the flurry! They came quickly and the proportions were great. I can see why where are always busy. My hubby now says we should go there every Sunday. 😂 I recommend! You will never run out of things to try!“

“Ritter’s is the stuff that will haunt your thoughts… I have been obsessed with their strawberry shortcake sundae since my first one last year. My husband loves their banana splits. We keep saying we want to try more things on the menu, but when it comes down to it, we love our favorites. I also must say this location has THE most polite and friendly staff. The French toast cookie/brownie (was a customer's choice) was sooo good, the smell alone was heavenly. The chocolate brownie was so good. I think the earlier you go the better, last time I went around 6pm and some were sold out. This morning they were warm and delicious.
