“This little sandwich shop is everything I hope to find when I stumble upon a new place to eat. The food is great, friendly service, and absolutely nothing pretentious about it. It’s just a tiny place that makes sandwiches, and the do a great job of it. Hopefully the community and surrounding communities will keep this place going for a long time.“

“As I first strolled into the Goodrich Subway on a particulartly dreary afternoon, my expectations for the experience to come was minimal. Myself being a connoisseur to sandwich shops and delis across the area, I have been treated to the best of the best, the top rye shall we say; and to expect much from this corporatized perversion of what I held dearest to me seemed a laughable notion. Hahaha what a fool I was! Not a second after I open the door to this establishment am I greeted with the hearty aroma of freshly baked bread and a variety of herbs. It is then that I am welcomed by the divine voice of a particularly handsome sandwich artist "Can I help you?" he whispers in my ear as I approach the sub station. My heart begins to race as I begin to imagine the sandwich possibilites. So many options at such a modest price it was almost to much to comprehend. I sensually reply "footlong... Italian BMT" feeling confident with my selection. As I anticipate the bold flavor soon to come, I adorn a broad grin across my face. Still grinning I am finally met with a heavenly creation of a sandwich. The bread was heated to a perfect 295 degrees and the meat to vegetable ratio was flawless. Unprepared for this creation I could not help but to sweat and shake violently... still maintaing my grin, the visual was enough to scare a number of passer-bys who were not cultured enough to fathom such a sub. Only Moments later I dropped the sub due to my sweaty palms so naturally I began to aggressively eat the sandwich off the floor without regret. The taste was of pure bliss and that was just the tile. Upon leaving I hoped to live the rest of my life the way I did those last five minutes. 10/10 would recommend“

“I ate here tonight. The gentleman that we're working recommended I tried the chicken and dumpling soup and potato soup so I bought one of each went back in bought another one It was delicious Best soup I've had in a long time. Also the customer service was great 5/5 I will definitely be coming back here.“

“I absolutely loved this place! I stopped in and got a #15, some tomato soup, and a smoothie. Everything was so fresh and tasty. It tasted natural and fresh, no artificial taste. I seen that she made everything by hand, nothing in packages or cans, and she used fresh ingredients. She was hospitable and nice and she checked on me, made sure i was taken care of and i was welcomed.“

“My husband and I had a wonderful experience at McAlister’s. We were greeted as soon as we came In. I had the harvest chicken salad, sandwich, and tortilla soup. My husband had the roast beef with horseradish sauce and tortilla soup. It was all excellent!! We were asked if everything‘s OK about halfway through our meal. What great staff and food.“

“Are you even from Michigan if you've never had Big Johns? It is hands down the best place to get a cheese steak sandwhich in this state. Between the massive 18 inch sub buns and the perfectly seasoned meat? How could you be anything but happy. Mouth waters any time I enter the store. Service is always good here, I'm sure it varies by location. Ambiance is kind of like any other fast food/sandwhich shop. Think of it as like a way better version on Quiznos. Absolutely make the stop here.“

“I have loved Big John's for decades now. Tonight I went into this location though and I told her I wanted peppers/sauce, usual deal. I got a sandwich SMOTHERED in yellow peppers and 1 single cup of red sauce for 2 8 inch sandwiches. I hope this isn't the new way, and if they were going to add them right to the sandwich they should have said something. My friend I'm sharing with is allergic and now has nothing to eat. I never EVER have gotten them ON the sandwich before, they normally come in portion cups like the sauce. Very disappointed. Please don't change this little detail, it really is something that sets you apart.“

“I ordered the Thai chicken wrap, and once they delivered it I noticed the wrap was extremely light. I thought they gave me the wrong order at first. When I unwrapped it, it was the “Thai chicken wrap” but there was hardly anything in it. Plus no chicken whatsoever. I called Jimmy Johns right away - gearing up for a possible battle. I spoke to the manager explaining what just happened. Without hesitation this awesome person apologized and was happy to send me a new one. Mistakes happen, I get it. But good customers is rare.“

“This is my favorite Subway. I live right between this one and the one on Belsay Rd. This one is definitely better. Thank God it has a drive-thru. Which the drive-thru could use a better speaker, but that's OK. The staff is friendly and hardworking, they've never gotten my order wrong. Everything always looks and tastes great!“
