And the staff were smiling, nice and didn’t seem to hate life like at other subways I’ve been to. It was clean and I didn’t have to wait long for my food. This will now be my go to subway.“

“I stopped at this location to get a sandwich to go for my dad, it is a great location where it's more foresty outside and not a super lot of through traffic blocking your way in and out of the parking lot, then on the inside its wide comfortable seating area there is well-maintained, the counter is in the front and very easy to purchase from displaying the freshly made cupcakes and cookies, the staff was friendly and professional greeted me as I approached the counter, a place in my order I could watch in the background as my food was cooked when I ordered it and it's not pre-cooked sitting there like a lot of fast food is so you're probably more likely to be able to do some customization without it going terribly wrong, I do recommend this Tubby's location, especially because of the comfortable environment.“

We stocked up on some great snacks: Pop Daddy original popcorn, salt and vinegar pistachios, Clearly Canadian in wild cherry, Lays salt and vinegar chips, Fritos BBQ corn chips, and Sahale maple pecans. Everything was fresh and satisfying, perfect for the road trip ahead.

“I have been going to Potbelly for about three years. I started at the one on Crooks near 16 mile and now I go to the one in Rochester Hills. Today is Election Day. I voted and then went to Potbelly for my sandwich and malt. As I paid for my purchase I was offered a Free cookie because I had a, I Voted sticker on my jacket. I asked her about why and found that she intentionally does this just to add a little sunshine to the world. “They are clearly understaffed right now as I’ve been waiting on food for over an hour. Spoke with an associate who offered to remake food for delivery which I appreciated, but I could also tell they were slammed. I felt for the employee so said just send the food. Understaffing is certainly an issue in this industry and many others, but solutions need to be found for the interim. Business models adapted, etc. I know that’s a corporate thing, but freaky fast is a bad promise in understaffed economies. It sets the tone for standards to be a certain level, and when it’s not met it turns what could’ve been a good experience into something disappointing- because of the implied expectation being sold to the consumer. This isn’t fair to consumers, or employees. The ceo needs to be giving franchisees options for these times, because as it stands they’re setting their employees up for failure daily.“
